Also also s1 Jon twenty statements later: LOCK HIM IN THE HEAT CONTROLLED, CLIMATE CONTROLLED, ENTIRELY SEALED, DOOMSDAY BUNKER. for..entirely.. Ehm, professional reasons!!
this reopened a sasha and tim shaped wound i never thought was so deep…. But bless your diligent work, comrade, for doing all 5 seasons. Your patience is admirable.
I would like to thank you as a person who is absolutely awful with horror and who wanted to listen to this podcast but had too many nightmares from it. thank you!!!
no problem! I will say that a large amount of the plot won't make sense if you haven't listened to the statements, so i highly recommend it, but if the nightmares are too bad, i get that too! i still get paranoid after listening to some episodes
omg this perfect thank you! (same, love the statements but sometimes i just wanna hear office comedy stuff) (and the horror the characters are dealing with personally :P)
This is what im using to introduce my boyfriend to tma!! the only notes i have is that i wish there was a note on the screen of what episode the clips are from, and possibly a tape click between clips to distinguish the start and end? Also the walk in scene from 23 was missing!! we missed out on hearing martin fluster about being caught without trousers!! Overall tho, the fact that youve managed to do this for all five seasons is incredibly impressive, and I can’t wait to see what happens with later seasons :)
I hope your boyfriend likes it! Also yeah, I considered adding tape clicks but realized that because of how short some of the clips were, it ended up making it sound a bit messy. Also oh crap I didn't realize I missed that! For what it's worth, I do have tape recorder clicks, episode labels, and the martin flustered scenes in my jonmartin clips video :P
I've been wanting to relisten to the magnus archives for the story, so this is an awesome find! If you ever do this for the magnus protocol that would be amazing- I was so invested in the characters but I couldn't stand the horror in TMP despite surviving TMA :(
me earlier: do I need to relisten to all of tma so I can understand what's going on in tmp? me seeing this vid: hehe I guess not! thank you for doing the good work!
Ahh this is such wonderful supercut series! I was curious if something like this exists. It’s very good for seeing just the interactions between the archive members. Thank you!
Omg this is amazing, thank you. I love the statements, but of course the real story is all the stuff happening outside the statements, and I've relistened so many times that sometimes i just want to do a quicker run through of the series. Thanks so much!!
Bless you for these,,,, I listen to the podcast during work and somehow got to the start of season 4 but I feel like I have no idea what's going on story wise :') I think i just left way too much time between episodes and lost track of ALL of the character, so hopefully these will help me out a bit!!!!
@@ellw7830 yeah but even in s1 Jon has a little bit after the statements where he's like "well this statement giver was clearly on drugs but here's what we did as follow-up research and what we found"
Unfortunately that video would be 109 hours long- if you just want to listen to the podcast its available on 6 or 7 different platforms one of which being TH-cam for free!
I'm sorry to say but anyone trying to use this to experience the plot won't get anything out of this. What is the point if some of the important statements were cut as well? How can you capture the plot when 1/3 is missing? How can we know what our characters are being attacked by in the end if we are never introduced to Jane, or the table, or Michael? I also don't think the statements of main characters should be cut either. Martin's statement of being attacked is important to the plot in my opinion. I appreciate your hard work, but I'm failing to see the point of it all, if not as a recap, for someone who has already heard the entire pocast and knows what pieces are missing.
S1 Jon: Martin is so incompetent and he gets things wrong
Also S1 Jon: who cares if i said the wrong year or file number???
Also also s1 Jon twenty statements later: LOCK HIM IN THE HEAT CONTROLLED, CLIMATE CONTROLLED, ENTIRELY SEALED, DOOMSDAY BUNKER. for..entirely.. Ehm, professional reasons!!
me again, vibing to my favorite song (jonathan sims voiced by jonathan sims written by jonathan sims)
"whoever takes over for me is going to know what happened"....... Guys....are we the new Archivist?
We are the ceaseless watchers
@@liaml.e.5964 I think ceaseless listeners would be slightly more fitting
woah, just noticed that you did this for ALL 5 SEASONS???? doing the lords work
yep! my back is completely ruined from sitting at my pc for so long but it was worth it
Truly

Same 😢
Early season 1 Jon was so mean to everyone, specially Martin 😂

@@moss2916 honestly I've listened up to season 4 and it's very much followable still! I had to google just a couple things 😌
i thought i was the only person who got nightmares from tma :")
There's a robust wiki if you ever need to skim for details/clarification!

I feel like S5 Jon would probably slap his past self for how he treated Martin lol
SPOILERS THROUGH S5
I like to imagine that each new listen through is a different dimension's Archivist. Maybe this one will fare better 😊

I didn’t realize I needed this until now

I come back to these so often, man I love tma
41:46 from his mouth! Very obvious in hindsight.

BROTHER- I WAS DOING SCIENCE HOMEWORK WHEN HE STARTED SCREAMNGG T-T
Christ, he sounds so different T0T
That is not my Jonathan Sims, The Archivist >:/
So does this also not have the statement follow-up bits?
i believe those don't start until season 2. if you're talking about the **supplementals** .
@@ellw7830 yeah but even in s1 Jon has a little bit after the statements where he's like "well this statement giver was clearly on drugs but here's what we did as follow-up research and what we found"

it's for people who dont want to comb through every episode to get non-statement related recordings
