Hi all!
I've been working non stop on this project for the last 4-5 months.
on one hand- I've learned so much! (I actually think there's like, a noticeable difference between the scenes I did first and the ones I did last. Which, y'know, isn't great, but also! look at me go!)
on the other hand, I've lost so much sleep.
I am so happy to be done with this and moving on to something new, I'm thinking CR final related.
I think after this i'll be posting some projects I did at school. so that might be fun.

This was done at 15 FPS; using some limited animation in parts. but overall 2700 frames abouts.

Nightvale being a desert community retirement home for eldritch entities and avatars feels appropriate. Cecil and Carlos double date with Martin and John would be so wholesome.

The interpretation of Jon becoming static and eyes as it started to pull him Elsewhere is /so/ good!!! You portrayed the emotions of everything so well and aaah, the desperation and the last clings of comfort as they /hope/ for a different life Elsewhere is so good!!!
I just finished The Magnus Archives today, I’ve been listening to it during my long shifts at the restaurant I work at. today the dishes were extra clean, washed with soap, water, and my tears

I just finished today. Two years later. I'm so conflicted, confused and heartbroken. Just not knowing if I'll never be loved that way hurts. Not knowing where my boys went to or what truly happened. It's so painful. 🥹😭
I finished the magnus archives a couple weeks ago, after a solid month of binging it from start to finish. I feel hollow.

In order to animate a scene you have to listen to it over and over again to the point where you can remember every single dialogue and sound effect. This makes me really appreciate the fact that you fully rendered the most heartbreaking moment in the show, and it looks absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing this
I know this is very off subject, but I just realized that Jon, the avatar of the eye, needs glasses. This is hilarious to me, anyway back to crying.
when I first listened to 200, I was sad, but it didn't hit me in the way I expected it to. I knew it was a tragedy, but the characters had been through so much that I felt a bit numb. But when I watched this for the first time, I cried. You've captured and amplified the tragedy of this moment-- their hope in the face of awful, eldritch horror. And it's so beautifully animated. I've watched it over a dozen times, and every time I spot some new, clever detail in how you rendered this scene. Thank you for this labor of love-- I'll be watching this every time I want to remember why TMA was so special.
THE WAY YOU ANIMATED JON'S "TEARS" IS INCREDIBLE!! Everything about this is phenomenal!!!
As someone who can't properly visualize anything in my mind, I appreciate these animatics so dang much, and this particular interpretation? Jon kind of glitching and losing his regular human appearance as the tower explodes?? HECKIN' GLORIOUS!!

This is incredible and the way Jon loses his form is such a fantastic way of representing this! I think this is what I'm probably going to envision from now on. Also...I'm dead inside.
I'm crying physical tears. This is absolutely bang-on. This is them. This is it. Every bit of it. You nailed it completely. I forgot the length as I was watching and I was fully expecting to hear the click and see Basira, Georgie and Melanie going over the ruins. This clearly took a huge amount of work and I have so much god danmg respect for you, holy shirt. The tears floating up, the glowing tractor-beam sort of light showing Jon's tether to the Eye, the acting!! Martin's posture alone on "Then I'll die"!!!!! I could go on but I'd just be narrating the whole thing shot for shot. You're incredible. Thank you for this.

When I first listened to this scene, I must admit I had problems visualising it, so to see it so beautifully animated is both lovely and ooof heartbreaking because now it's really hitting home TT^TT I love this, good job! Now I have so many feels!

This is an actual masterpiece. The quality is insane, the lip sync and Jon’s appearance and the angles and facial expressions and _emotion_ - this deserves so much and I’m so glad it showed up in my recommended

I can't imagine how many hours you spent doing this, it must have taken you so long, I wouldn't even know where to start to animate something like this. Every single frame is so good, the way you used the sorta glitching effect for Jon is pure genius and you portayed Martin's emotions so well
Update (as you can probably tell lol) finding THIS has brought me to tears again, once again such phenomenal work here, especially with the uniqueness of the animations for static and the tears!!! Oh, they're so well done 😭
