Fun review of all the changes and can I just say....LOVE JOHN so very much!!! I still say he needs his own TH-cam channel. I literally could have Linda and John on ALL DAY!
I too just came home from vacation and I was so happy to be home! I walked in and said I love the way our home smells and my 18 year old daughter said me too! That made me doubly happy! Loved this video and am so glad you are back safely.
Hi Linda - first of all thanks for your channel I have been inspired by your work. I actually saw you in Scotland when passing by the floral clock in Edinburgh. I mentioned it to my husband and he said you should say hi. I was a bit shy as us Canadians are and did not want to disturb but now after seeing your video have confirmed indeed it was you! How funny. Just thought I would mention it here as what are the chances!
I absolutely loved this reminder of how the cottage looked when you first arrived. It's a great reminder of how far it has come and how much you've done in such a short time time. Truly inspirational❤
Please ignore all the negative comments~ goodness me!!!! Bless their hearts!!!!! I enjoy every video even if I have seen it before!!!! Thank you for all you do and share!!! 🙋🏻♀️❤️
I can’t believe how many things I hadn’t noticed the first time around, thanks for putting this together, I once again got some new ideas (for me anyway) that I am anxious to try out! Looking good Linda!
Looks like you bought a Buchanan tartan rug (if I’m not mistaken) while you were visiting my country. The Buchanan lands were on the South East side of Loch Lomond which isn’t too far from me. I live about 3 miles from the north west side of Loch Lomond. I hope you had a nice time here in spite of us having some of the worst summer weather we’ve seen in years. It’s been a bad season for my garden. Right now it seems that the only plants which are growing are the weeds 😂 but hey ho, that’s gardening for you and there’s always hope for next season. I hope you’ll share some of your experience of Scotland and whether you visited any gardens. We have some beautiful gardens which are open to the public in Argyll. Near us there is Ardkinglass House and Gardens on Loch Fyne. Inveraray Castle and Gardens (also on Loch Fyne) and the Benmore Botanic Garden on Loch Eck. Linn Botanic Garden on Loch Long is currently being restored to its former glory.
Thank you Linda for this video. Yes, I believe I may have seen parts of this previously. I am sure that some of your newest followers have not seen this previously.
I have that same piece you found in the attic and placed in your master bath. It was my mother's and yes, she used it as a vanity seat and it had a cushion. Mine is black but I think I will get up the courage to spray it a different color to update it. LOVE.
There is no place like home and where you hang your heart! Pretty & Cozy dwelling! 💕 It's alot of fun decorating and not always easy deciding what should be placed where! When all starts to come together it's rewarding! Enjoy !
Someone mentioned, and I agree..... that gorgeous round barley twist table and two flanking chairs, should be centered under the gorgeous diamond pane front window in the parlour . Now that you're showing the old dining room painting... I don't think these rooms even look like this now. I guess I was waiting to see the before and after rooms, to compare how far the cottage had come.
I totally identify with "there's no place like home"! I don't think I felt that way until both of my parents were gone, I moved into my childhood home, and I needed to travel for work (thankfully not out of the country or for all that long).
Hi Linda! Welcome home! Looking forward to hearing about gardening ideas you learned while you were away! It was so good to see you and Sydney together! i enjoy both of your channels!! And to think the fairytale house brought you both into our lives! I remember when I watched my first video of yours, during covid....your garden, you, Stewart gave us something else to think about....and here we are now! Hugs!!
The green bottle came with music boxes in them. Some play Jingle Bells…….They came in a box with a label “ Lift and Listen to the Musical Bottle drink and enjoy”
I caught a hint from an earlier video that Sydney bought your house and have been following her You Tube channel to see her updates. I laughed when you mentioned moving the dining room to the basement. I’m 65 so if I had the space I would move mine to my bedroom closet. I moan about mine and it’s on the same floor, just across the house. Young knees and back no longer apply to me! Mary B
I don’t Clare for reruns. I think you should visit with Cindy and Tommy. It seems you are a little upset as the changes they have made but you also made changes to the cottage. I do love both of your videos.
I have a cupboard where all my medicines etc are in one place as well but I have grandchildren that are young and so a bottom drawer wouldn’t work as the content has to be out of reach. I like the form follows function organization strategy.
Curous Gail, are you an interior designer? Everyone likes what they like and it is her home if it makes you go bonkers then fast forward or don't watch and if you don't watch you will be missing so much great content!
I really love your videos Linda and I’ve watched every single one. However, I do not enjoy a video like this looking back to a video that I’ve seen before just my opinion.
It’s beautiful it is your home and you have it as you want. Everyone home should be as they like it
I so enjoy going back and seeing all your videos!

John is in the house! Even though I've seen this video before, I always, always take something away from listening to John.
The first time

Such a lovely, tranquil home. Thank you for sharing it with us.
You, Linda, and Sydney both have such great taste!! Both homes reflect each of you!

Glad your home safe & sound! I can't wait to hear and see your inspirations you are bringing back to all of us 😊
Your friend Kristine
As much as I enjoy travel, and nice hotels, like you, I’m always happy to get back to my own home and garden.
Fantastic!!!!!!
Nice to have two fire places.

Your home is lovely, well done aesthetically while serving your family’s needs!

Hi Linda, I agree with you concerning the metal seat. I remember them as a vanity seat for a bathroom.
It is a vanity seat so so cute
Ms. Linda is looking fantastic!
Hi, Linda. Thank you for your video.
It is good to see what you have done and your thought process. Sending love prayers and kindness with a daily dose of encouragement ♥️🌹🙏🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
Home is where the heart is. Thanks Linda

Yes, I even hate leaving home. let alone coming back to it. I see plaids in your future for Fall.
Welcome back LV
Home sweet home
Love your vest
Yes…🎉 back to John’s house. 😊
I don’t Clare for reruns.
I think you should visit with Cindy and Tommy. It seems you are a little upset as the changes they have made but you also made changes to the cottage.
I do love both of your videos.
I hope you get some much deserved rest, Linda.

I was afraid that you had left us for good but knew you would never leave your sweet house.
🌿💗🌿
Maybe you could ask your organiser to help with your bathroom and second bedroom
Linda has a cute side table- rectangle with what looks like black metal legs and little lion feet. Anyone know where you can get it?
Love this video. DO YOU HAVE A LINK FOR YOUR BLINDS?❤❤
Question…how would a Sony tv “framed one” with the map of where you plan to travel to next?
Did you bring the Scottish weather back with you??🏴🌏🦘
❤
Can you please share a link to the persons TH-cam channel you purchased Linda’s house. I can’t seem to find it. Thank you !
@SydneyDorman
Sorry, but those were as a viewer so chaotic to where I don’t really want to watch again. lol Glad you are settled in.😂
Love your home but one thing that drives me bonkers is the off centered chairs and round table in your parlor. Please consider centering it

Then don’t watch it. Simple as that
I agree stopped watching Linda Vater just because I find since she moved the content and her sidekicks don’t appeal to me anymore
@@annekemartoccia-by6yw And yet, , here you are! 👋
@@SeashellSeashell-du1sl👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
@@annekemartoccia-by6ywyou are watching now lol.
Lovely, but too long.
You don't have to watch it all at once.
