(Part that was Added in Repentance) Also modifies room clear drops.
The priorities of the drops, in order, are as follows:
Soul Hearts: When Isaac has no Red Heart containers and less than 2 Soul Hearts. (top priority)
Soul Hearts: When Isaac has less than 6 total Heart containers of any kind. (lowest priority, to get this one you need 15 coins, 5 bombs 5 keys, and a trinket)
Glyph of balance gave you those soul hearts sinvicta.
Also, Glyph of balance, if i understand what the wiki is saying, can be used to farm trinkets if you have atleast 15 coins, 5 bombs, 5 keys.

@@agargamer6759 It's a finicky item, it can be good if you're talented with micromanagement but most of the time you are left like "Damn I need a key but I guess i have to get 4 coins, 3 bombs and 3 full hearts until the keys drop"

As a rule of thumb for me I usually give restaurants 2 chances. Because I might have a bad waiter one time but why would I judge the restaurant or other wait staff based off of my experience with one.
That's my usual policy too. Only once have I had a bad enough experience with a restaurant that I wouldn't even entertain a second trip. It was a barbecue smokehouse/bar in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. They crapped the bed so badly with our group that we were there for over two hours and we had just gotten our entrees. But what Sinvicta described was very close to what happened with us: very little contact with the wait staff, they ran out of about half the meat on the menu (this is a smokehouse, remember) they got about half of our group's orders wrong, we didn't get our drinks until about 45 minutes after we sat down. It was just one thing after another.
Though I also have that opinion, it really depends on the restaurant. If it‘s your average casual restaurant, there will be a lot of difference depending on waiter and day. But if it‘s higher class, every single employee should be able to work within the restaurant‘s standard to a fault. If management can‘t make sure of that, then it‘s most likely not going to be a pleasant experience the second time either. Personally, I always look for reviews and read the bad ones only and compare their number to the number of positives. Rarely fails me. Also, go with friends. They make you forget most bad aspects of that visit! :D
@@LarsBlitzer Same about two hour wait for one place, and the worst part the food wasn't even good, maybe 30 minutes to drinks, and we were there maybe 10 am so no rush in site just a lot of people who had been there a while.
@@JE-ky2ow Luckily we found a much better place in the same city: The Palomino Smokehouse. Top notch food and service all around, and very conveniently located. Just don't park in the private lot next to it; the rates are stupid expensive.
Wait wait I know you said that for yourself. He did gave them 2 chances and even more. 1) drinks wasnt served 2) The waiting time 3) Food was prepared wrong (2 times). Also waiter is trained by the restaurant (the owner) and look how the staff are trained (that goes for the chef).

had a similar applebee’s experience, waitress literally ignored our entire area and she actually quit and nobody was serving us for about 30 minutes because she was straight up gone and nobody knew. That was a fun day

Wow you just solved my personal mystery. I did the hot potato challenge today and kept getting soul hearts on sheol/womb floors and couldn't for the life of me figure out why. But I remember that I took glyph so that explains everything, thanks!

I discovered something interesting about blood oath that makes it actually useable in some cases: When blood oath drains your health at the start of the floor, it damages you one time for each half heart drained, so if you have an old bandage/gimpy/fanny pack build going, you can pretty frequently spawn enough health to mitigate the damage blood oath causes
Day 1 of posting my fishing for the day: caught 3 perch today, 1 of them was too small to swallow the bait but still got hooked on it!
@@gapeape3895 I live right next to a water not quite small enough to be a pond and not big enough to be a lake, 2 minute walk down and there's pike and perch, then a 10 minute walk to a lake teeming with perch, and on the other side of town there's a lake with shad and pike. I've slowly, but surely, been increasing the food I cook vs. the food I get from restaurants. I made a stroganoff that was absolutely killer at the start of this week. Now I am collaborating with a coworker that does some gardening and thus am attempting to make black garlic.
Yo, that's awesome! If you continue on your ventures, I wonder if you'll be able to start your own small-time restaurant in the future. :) And I definitely know how you feel. A couple months back, I decided to make myself an easy-recipe meatloaf. It was so good, and I'm actually thinking of experimenting with flavors and different added ingredients.

Glyph of Balance is a really nice support item now, it'll drop whatever pickup you need as a room reward! Not sure how the priority between health and regular pickups work, but it gives you health when you're below 6 soul hearts, and bombs/keys/coins depending on whichever is the lowest.

This weekend, I was staff for a road rally. I was in charge of checking in about 70 cars or so to our checkpoint. Proceeds went towards the American Heart foundation

The steakhouse story was basically every steakhouse in early 2021. So many waiters quit and all the new ones in training didn't know what they were doing. Sounds like an Outback steakhouse or Cattle mans steakhouse story circa early 2021 IMO

That restaurant story is the problem with the American custom of tipping waiters regardless. Tips should be earned not expected. It would lead to a better level of service all round.
The problem is when you give perfect service and get nothing because it’s not about your service it’s about how monetarily stable the person you are serving is.
Yeah well waiters are paid below minimum wage, so until we fix that, please tip because everyone deserves to afford to live

Stanley was inside the wall during his attack animation, then he got pushed out after the animation ended which caused him to keep shooting off in the opposite direction from the wall
So with Terra and Sharp Straw, you could have almost unlimited health. Any time you take damage, you can just keep jumping in and out of the room with the Sharp Straw until it spawns enough half soul-hearts to replenish what was lost.

I had the same thing on my 16th birthday (I'm german BTW) and it was kinda special. I was with my family by a good restaurant and we waited for about 3 hours There was 5 families after us and they left before we got even our drinks. the waiter's Lost our order 2 times and we Sat about one and a 1/2 hour Just waiting. I will NOT forget this.

That may just be the best start on Eden I have ever seen. Great stats all around other than range and luck. Luck wasn't too bad and the range was okay because of very high starting shot speed. Active and passive item are also very very good. Nuts start all around.
You can say a lot about Sinvicta Luck, but his luck at getting planetariums is actually pretty good. Now, whether planetariums themselves are actually any good is another matter~

I worked 47 hours and watched TH-cam videos the entire time. Being a security guard is awesome
The thing about rock bottom why it's not as strong as you think is that it still calculates the stats in the background, it just locks it on the highest it has been on the run. So if you use the devil card it may give you 2 permanent damage up, but if you collect another +1 damage item after that it wont give you more damage. (3,5+2 damage from devil=5,5 but leaving the room makes your hidden stat go back to 3,5. so you now need to more than 2 damage up to increase it further.)
The thing about psychology is that people always want more and more, rock bottom is a very nice one, especially when picking up something like soy milk, but not too soon soy milk since it basicly eliminates further dmg upgrades.

As someone who has worked in Retail for a decade (And through the whole pandemic to boot), I'm definitely very empathetic to other places like restaurants, because they could be severely understaffed, or they've had to take on new staff at short notice who hasn't been able to find their feet at all. But surely the manager should have come to the table and at least explained the situation if that was the case? To be left unserved for that long and not really be kept up to date on it, that's not right. But that's just me. Maybe things are very different here in the UK

The penalties aren't forgotten. They are just hidden. So you can't just use certain items to boost yourself, as the game remembers that your stats are supposed to be lower than Rock Bottom allows them to be.

The only problem with rock bottom is it still gives you the stat down, but hidden. So say you take soy milk and get a big tears up. And you take pentagram you wont get a dmg up because you need to earn back all of the dmg down you got from soy milk before you can get a dmg up

This weekend I’ve been applying to medical schools. Essays galore.
Day 474
Today was unexpectedly busy. I was planning on staying home because tommorow I'll got work to do and some medical stuff and go to the bank, but my friend asked my for some help in finances so we can count her small business income together. Afterwards my bf picked me up and we went to my sister's, spended some time with family. It was a good but heavy day. I hope it won't be to hard tommorow at work. I really need a day to rest and pick myself up. It's all good, I mean I'm happy that my life is so fulfilled but for the majority of my life I considered myself introverted so I need to recharge at least a little bit. I mean too much is happening right now. Not to sound ungrateful but even if it's good I want some time by myself.
I had the same experience when we took my mom out to eat for her birthday. It was like 2 hours before we got our food and they didn't even bring what she ordered. Worst restaurant experience I've ever had by far
I think my worst service ever was also a birthday, took them 20 minutes to take our drink order (we decided to order food at the same time since servers were taking forever) the food took 55 minutes to get out and was all poor quality once it got there, covered in cheap sauces to try cover it up, we had 4 brunettes a black haired person a ginger and (with no more than an inch of hair) a blonde at our table, we found a blonde hair about 13 inches long in our food, the manager actually accused us of putting it there, as "we have no blondes on staff", as we see a blonde with about the right length of hair walk past the kitchen window. Than they didn't dock any of the meals even though once the hair was found we all stopped eating, and decided to head home 10 minutes later, and the manager had the police waiting thinking we were just going to walk out without paying not that anyone would have blamed us if we did. Which of course we wouldn't, like at the end of the day we're decent people we'll pay for you're crappy meals we just won't come back.

I love your restaurant story because it's such a... not a big deal? Like it's benign and a funny story without any crazy shit. Not like the time a dude started a fist fight with a waiter while screaming "suck my dick!" or shit like that I've seen before.
