Very good Jenny ! You did it correctly! I’m going to share a tip I was taught years ago !! Do the same as you did with your resizing die adjustment , touch shell plate with the die and back off 1/16 turn !! Next ( small step ) PUT A FIRED CASE IN YOUR SHELL PLATE , run the CASE ALL THE WAY INTO YOUR DIE , LEAVE IT LIKE THAT !! Next , NOW TIGHTEN YOUR DIE LOCK RING ! Now you have proper ALIGNMENT! Best ALIGNMENT you are going to get ! More important with bottle neck cases than straight wall cases !! I leave my dies in my press and I don’t remove them !!
What a refreshing video. A lady that is interested enough in reloading and mechanically inclined enough to setup a reloading press. I have been doing this for decades and I think she did everything correctly. One question… do you have extra tool heads so you can leave the dies setup and swap tool heads when you change calibers?
Thank you so much, Rusty Guy!! To answer your question, yes, we do have quick change kits for all of our dies. It just so happens we bought a new revolver this last weekend and wanted to be able to reload for it, so the .38sp die set was brand new and needed to be set up. 😊 It’ll stay mounted now.
Thank you for these awesome videos. They are inspiring me to get into reloading too. I’ve tried looking at the specs for this reloaded but couldn’t find a dye for 30-06. Do you know if this reloader has a dye for 30-06? Right now I only need to reload 9mm & 30-06 but will likely move into 223 in the future. I can find the kits for 9mm & 223 but not 30-06. Any tips or advice you can give is greatly appreciated. Ty, have a wonderful day.
Yes, Dillon has both carbide and steel 06 dies. Most 30-06 dies will work on the Dillon press though (Lee, Hornady, RCBS, etc.) so if you are using a Dillon, don't be afraid to use any of those other brands of dies. Thanks for asking, and thanks for watching!!

250 box of Remington green and White box of 38 spec. Was $189 at the store last week.
Wooooooow.... That's steep. We were at a shop tonight that had Remington white & green; it was priced at $44.97 for 50 rds. Ouch.
