love your videos mate keep up the amazing work. and never apologize or feel the need to explain yourself to anyone who leaves negative comments it's your show!!! keep doing what you do and showing us all the amazing car's.
You were very apologetic in this video. I don't see why you thought you needed to be. This video shows the raw enthusiasm you have for these cars, and your videos. The cars were cool, and your presentation was just fine. And, you showed respect for the owner and his collection. This is what having a passion for cars, or anything else, should be about. This was a fantastic video, and you should be proud of it.
That red Familia Coupe was to die for. And thank you so much for such a long video that was full of awesome cars! Many of which were completely new to me. Keep it up!
oh my god,I finally saw a colt 1100 on ur channel. We had a retro car show today again and the Colt was there. Short story about the Colt: It's in Bulgaria. It's imported into the country in 1960 by a sailor,RHD and everything and he's had it every since. The man is like +80 years old now. A true Legend
all of the videos you put out have tgis element of narration that i actually find just perfect and your respect for the japanese culture and how to behave around the vehicles is just amazing and even if it is but a glimpse u are so right when u say people outside of japan would kill for some of the cars you show i truly find peace in watching these videos and when i saw 25 min long i knew i had to roll a doob (if i may without judgment) and sit down and learn something new.....the foot lever for the sandal and the gun metal skyline the trikes i just salivate thinking of the sounds smells and textures that you get to experience and tears could fall for days thinking of the type of genuine emotion that u get to see within others and feel within yourself as u come in contact with nostalgic historical machines if you ever need help financially please message me ill gladly give you USD for nothing more than you making videos......FOREVER LIVE WASABI CARS AND NOTHING BUT GOOD ENERGY TO YOU DANIEL (hope thats how it is spelled):)
You hit the mother-load here!!! I've never appreciated so much nostalgia and of different makes in one place and in one video. Damn i wish i was there! Thanks again.... Sometimes we have to take a break from the fun things, hobbies and easy day routines etc, to focus on the simple things that matters most. It's the only way positive change can happen, even though it's rough. It's the only way we can toughen ourselves for harder challenges to come.
Guess I am a legend! I really hope you continue doing videos. Life would be boring without the ups and downs. Stay positive brother! Thank you for taking us into his collection!
How 'lucky are you to be living a dream - compiling the story of these unseen cars. I can see youre luv for these beauties - fantastic thanks for sharing!!!
i will do it asap (when my wife wakes up in hour or so) and thnk you for all the videos and i hope u dont feel like u do this for nothing trust its priceless what u do and ill definitely show my respect and appreciation thnks again man srry for not being aware of the other page (foot in mouth) but ill def be a fan and viewer for as long as u make videos.
Dan!! this video was really good, "dodgy" as you put it but i really enjoy these just as much as your more well done videos. super entertaining to watch. so many amazing cars i've never heard of! Also i hope everything gets sorted soon for you, all the best.
Hello, loved the video of the Sepia collection. It was like seeing a hundred beautiful shy ladies peeking out from behind their blankets in a kind of sensual way. Definitely makes me look forward to more of your videos. Hoping for you all the best. Scot in Idaho U.S.A. :)
watched all of it in with an amazing face. great video and great education for people who like Japanese cars but want to know the history behind some models. keep up the great work! :)
What a great collection, the owner is living the dream. I love the quirky cars n all shapes and sizes. I also like the way the video is shot, nice work Dan.
we love you too Daniel! :-) so many dream cars there. why did i had to watch this video while playing the whole lindberg IV album? i felt like i was in japan again... damn, so many nice memories from only yesterday. i really want to go back. this city is really stressing, you won't believe the things i see everyday, i must go to arequipa at some point of my life. however, i saw a lot of 80's mark II's today for some reason, that's nice. oh, that 360 has the same ragtop that the one i saw in ibaraki in 2014, probably the only version i would fit in, with my head over the windshield and the steering wheel crushing my legs. why do tall people like small cars!? one of my uncles that live in the US is crazy for a cappuccino. he has the same height as me, and my uncle told him that he won't fit in, one of his friends that i met in Japan wanted to get one (he was like 1.75) and he couldn't get it "kuso!" well, thanks for the video Daniel. i hope you'll fix your troubles soon, things always get fixed ;-)
Great job, it is very special to me to see the inside of a colection like this, here in Portugal we have same places like that, is cool to see that the people like there history e preserve that for future generations to see and learn. I am a huge mega fan of Datsun and Nissan , currently i am restoring a Datsun 1200 b110 2 door, but i would love to see some footage of a Nissan SunnyB11 in any shape or form, i once woned one(B11 4door 1300,great car) and never seen more than 2 photos there in Japan. So if you see one there, please make a video or photo of it, i would love to see it. I restaure classic cars for a living and for passion, so it is great to watch your videos. Keep up the great job. Five stars.
Wow. Thank you so much. I have done a couple of videos of 110 Sunnys. (You wrote B11, but do you mean B110?) wasabicars.com/cars.html?make=Datsun&model=Sunny
G'day Dan'l. Awesome collection of JDM Japanese cars. I'm glad to see that *some* cars have been saved from the weather. I totally agree with you about respecting the cars and not just ripping the covers off them, *certainly* not without the permission of the owner of the collection. Among my favourites are the Toyota Crown Deluxe 2000, the Nissan (Datsun) Hakosuka Skyline, the Datsun Fairlady, the Toyota (Toyopet) Corona Tiara (it was sold here in the USA as the Tiara. Don't ask me why. The crown jewel for me would be the Toyota (kujira) MS60 series Crown. I don't really care about how popular the cars are or were. What matters is that they're there to show and to admire. Thank you for posting. :)
thanks Dan! very nice walk around in the sepia collection and I saw a couple of cars I've never seen before! one remark: the Laurel officially isn't a prince product but it surely got developed by them on the skyline platform. I never noticed the distinctive headlight shape though
Interesting to see some of those Fuji (Subaru) Rabbit Scooters. There's one here in the US at the Petersen Museum and Subaru of America has one as well, very rare. And that CB750 police bike is gorgeous! Such a beautiful collection, it's one of my dreams to attain a collection like this one day.
Awesome video Daniel such a great collection of cars your so lucky to have been able to see these cars thank you for sharing them with us. I agree with you on not liking certain cars. just because your not a fan of a certain make or model it doesn't mean you dont appreciate the car I myself cant stand Holdens but I still respect and appreciate a nice car no matter what it is
Methinks that this is one of your best epic videos yet, Dan. For a minute, I thought those Nissans with the stacked headlights were actually Pontiacs! But I love those truck bikes. Very nice indeed. Things will get better, my friend.
I almost thought those Glorias were Ford Fairlanes myself, lol. D.O'G.: what was the (Jp) name of that corner appendage that you snagged? Wasn't sure if it was a parking guide thingy…
What I like about your videos is that you show the cars you like if I would just want to see cars I already know or like I would just look for photos of them on the internet :D This way it is much more interesting :) I hope I can go there too :3 Soon I'll start writing applications to companies in Japan so maybe I can go there next year :D
Holy cars! :O So many cool cars, dude! Take care and try to make more great wasabi cars videos (dodgy/shaking camera or not - i will watch them still) :) Keep on going ! (Y)
very nice, watched it all, infact i didnt had a proper internet for past month and something, youtube just didnt load,so i had to catch up haha hope you will get your troubles sorted out soon and all will be good ;)
I find myself talking down on manufacturers(Kia,Hyundai) who have never competed in major motorsports F1, Le mans. but evey good manufacturer has a excellent defining trait.
Great collection! Have you seen any collections that specialize in 80's Japanese cars? For me, a Y31 Cedric/Gloria would be an awesome daily driver. V6 turbo, RWD, comfortable around town, yet quick. Love the look of the 80's hardtops!
The little speech at the end with the light outro music beginning to fade in is lowkey comedy gold "I gotta take care of other things, with a little bit of luck i might be able to catch my breath " *WASAAAAAABIIIIII WITH A LITTLE BIT O' DUST AND A LITTLE BIT O' RUST
hey Daniel. im a big fan of videos. me and my partner watch them everyday. i checked wasabi site and stickers are out of stock. i would love some for my HR31 ! keep the awesome vids coming :)

Dear WasabiCars - Since you go to so many scrap heaps and large collections, any chance you can show off using quad-copter mounted with cameras? Would have loved to see this warehouse from high up looking down!
I like this collection. Not over presented. Looks like you could hop in any of these cars and drive them. Not trailer queens.
love your videos mate keep up the amazing work. and never apologize or feel the need to explain yourself to anyone who leaves negative comments it's your show!!! keep doing what you do and showing us all the amazing car's.

How 'lucky are you to be living a dream - compiling the story of these unseen cars. I can see youre luv for these beauties - fantastic thanks for sharing!!!
Yeah, I am pretty lucky. And to think that when I started, I had zero knowledge of Japanese cars. I just carried over my passion for old Aussie cars.

Hey, Art. I've got a photo of a Butaketsu with similar headlight surrounds. My guess is it would be a Zenki. I can't confirm that though. :/

I think I just fell in love with the hachiroku again. Its soooo kawaii

Hey! New subscriber. Have you ever found any AL25 Sprinter Carib cars? I would love to see one in it's natural habitat!
Hey. And, Oh... I've got some very disappointing news for you; and this kind of thing happens heeeeeeaps ('What, but it's a Japanese car...') I've lived in Japan since 2001, have been car spotting and going to car shows since 2012, and never have I even once seen the car of which you speak. Yeah, it seems they existed here because there are Toyota brochures on the auction site, but zero actual cars. Sorry for that. But like I said, this kind of thing happens heaps.

Also please, more long videos like that of you can, is rally great to watch!

Yeah, there were some odd ones in there.
woooooooooow, nostalgia hit right there
25 mins could be overdose. :/
Dear WasabiCars - Since you go to so many scrap heaps and large collections, any chance you can show off using quad-copter mounted with cameras? Would have loved to see this warehouse from high up looking down!

AutoSandal FN!! Does it have a hole in the floor where you run ala Flintstones?
No, but you'll need to get your leg pumping for the kick starter.
