Unironically, this whole concept sounds super fun. The whole "targets for each boss to advance" system with rewards is super interesting. Might be biased as I ended up theorycrafting a combat achievement list like Oldschool and it's somewhat similar. I'd love to have this as a Leagues or Fresh Worlds styled experience you could do.
Love the concept for the series! If I could make a small editing suggestion, if you play with no game sounds, you could add some of the rs3 music as soft background music to fill the silence when you're not talking. I'll still watch regardless of if you do or not! You earned yourself a sub
The hardest part of bossing is not about starting with nothing...its the ungodly amount of grinding u need to put in to get all the skills u require just to get to the end game bossing content and the stupid amount of tedious questing
You might already know this, but anytime there's a click to accept option like on the barrows chests. Instead of clicking, you can hit the space bar if on PC. This works great for fast recovery of items just like this and allows you to hover your mouse over a tele option while looting from a chest, off the ground, anything with that accept interface.
That's very helpful actually, I knew it worked for the loot interface but didn't know it worked for chests. Will take advantage of that from now on, cheers.
Just so you know, abilities do not use runes so provided you are not autoing or 4ticking you can benefit from higher spells with no detriment. Runes should be relatively hard to run out of while using revo and you'll get more damage for free!
This is awesome!! Cant wait to follow this. One thing that might be nice is enabling target information in combat targeting settings. Kind of confusing to only see an unlabeled hp bar on enemies
Wow! I only just discovered this series. This is why I created a new account because my main is maxed and only due to DXP and MTX which makes it feel like a broken account. My new account is going to discover all the bosses on this game and get most of the stuff by myself. This series is gonna help a lot with that!
will definitely enjoy watching this series, hopefully i'll pick up some useful pointers to apply on my Ironman, always struggled with PvM. also, it might be a good idea to show the boss collection log of any given boss before you first fight them going forward, so we know for sure how many drops you have gotten during the time playing this challenge.
@@krityaRS You could have bought Guthix Staff and Lunar Armor. These are easy to acquire items and much cheaper. Those items would also allow to you do up to GWD1 or even Vindicta. Dragon Staff has a high quest requirement. Great Series nonetheless.
Starting from scratch with cosmetics enabled looks off, at 23:10 you spin around trying to show your skeletal armor, but nothing is visible thanks to the cosmetics. Very interesting series, will definitely keep watching!
Yeah I took the cosmetics off. I wanted to use the cosmetic set since it's my favourite armour set and I can't get it on my main but I came to the conclusion that seeing what I'm wearing is a bit too important in this series. Hopefully it goes on sale soon, for now it will be an avatar I use to reference the character.

@@krityaRS yeah, I figured it out when I accidentally teleported. Sucks you lost a couple chests online the way. I made a barrows plugin for alt1 toolkit as well, might speed up the runs a bit.
in the beginning when you equip the iron dagger/bronze offhand I thought you said you couldn't use archeology relic (2:45) until unlocked but yet the adrenaline crystal was used and your adrenaline did not drawn out of combat meaning it was in use? (12:36-12:44) maybe I missed when it was unlocked but if doing another video it would be nice to see a pop up like "slot unlocked" or something that pops up on the screen so we can see what has been unlocked so far?
You're thinking of "Persistent Rage", the old persistent rage is now a passive reward from the Succession quest in the form of the infernal puzzle box which prevents adrenaline drain. Persistent Rage now causes you to generate adrenaline out of combat instead. I'll make sure to make noise when we unlock something, but we don't have any relics active in this episode.
I know this is 2 months old but I'm sure the statistics on the creature kills are only 7 for highest chance on loot table. or it might've been 9. I can't remember. but it's one of those numbers lmao.
Love the series so far just curious on what the limitations of the g.e will be? I thought it was just food potions and basic weapons? But then I seen you buy all that superior skeletal which is decent enough to use even at rax so I’m just curious on the g.e side of the series
So the GE is limited so that I can't buy the following: Anything unlocked via a tier unlock or challenge until I have unlocked it. Gear above t60 (I'm using normal skeletal not superior). Items in boss drop logs.
Great idea for a series! However, I was wondering why you didn't buy the guthix staff instead of the dragon battlestaff. Guthix staff is also t60, way cheaper, and has an insane special attack which is very useful at Barrows specifically, but also got later on.
I didn't make it clear enough in this episode, but shops and item reclaims (e.g. surgeons ring, Excalibur) are locked behind challenges. E.g. one of the options for the hydrix challenges is the ability to buy god staves.

barrows got a little better when ammy of forsaken got to 8-digit value , in just 12-15 days i can earn guarantee 300m atleast (lets say you play 4-7 hours a day) , clean , i recommend it for returners 👌
God staves are a challenge reward (gstaff/zstaff specs op) so I can't buy them until I redeem that by completing one of the "hydrix" challenges. Also I can't buy stuff from shops, only the GE, unless it's untradeable and required to utilise a boss drop. Didn't do a good job making that clear here so will be clarify in the next one!
Noob question: When kiting, how are you attacking him without clicking on him? I've been trying to kite, but clicking on the boss turns my character around, and the boss catches up with me.

Why can't you use shopkeepers around the world? I assume they are probably cheaper than the GE price for weapons and armor, as well as the mazcab shop for potions.

The goal was to make a bit of a different problem space to work in than an Ironman, it also ties in to the "no money making other than bossing" as shops like rune shops are highly profitable and I'd rather not start limiting what I can sell or having to track where each item stack came from etc.
You honestly should be able to buy "eventually" all items you would be able to smith so that goes up masterwork armor. It would be nice to remove your cosmetics too, let the character evolve a bit. Barrows pieces can be mix matched for fashion so Im curious to see what you come up with by the end.
I removed the cosmetics near the end of the episode and they will remain off in-game for the rest of the series. I'm still planning to use the "shadow dragoon" emotes etc. To represent this character but you're right that seeing what I'm wearing is pretty key for this series.

Unfortunately, being able to see the gear I'm wearing is going to be pretty key in this series so it won't be making much of an ingame appearence, but it's my way of representing the character "Nairathor".
Surely instead of buying d staff surely a g staff from vendor is acceptable in your rules?... That being said it's a "boss only" so I get the reasoning
God staves are part of the hydrix rewards, so we'd have to unlock them by completing a hydrix challenge before we can buy them. Episode 5 goes into these in more detail.
Love the content and the idea. However I have a suggestion for toke videos. Background music. Seriously they carry their weight in gold. Nothing too loud like 5 or 10% volume just running through the e tire thing.
Yeah I've found that quite a few things close the interface including prayer running out and leaving combat, I just assumed it was the skeleton because right before I teled he walked next to me. Gonna make sure to be double checking for the bank message or quick looting from now on.

This was because my target's health bar was floating under the barrows brother UI in the top left. I fix it in the next episode.

You do know there's a right click option on the chest to quick loot.... you get the stuff to the inventory immediately without viewing it.

You can bank mid barrows run btw. Only resets once you loot the chest.

Anything that is a tier unlock, a hydrix reward, a boss log drop or is a >t60 piece of gear is not allowed. 99% of everything else is fair game.

If you use a non channeled ability while spam clicking to move around you won't stop to cast it

I'm not ruling it out as an epilogue/miniseries, but I'd have to improve a lot at PVM along the way.

I am very confused as to why you chose to buy a 300k dragon staff over a 100k obsidian staff
Forgot the obsidian staff was t60, some reason I had in my head that it was t50. Would've saved a little time for sure.
