They’re expensive as fuck though I just read a news article that the clip 4 and go 3 are getting price bumps for 10 dollars more making the clip 80 dollars and the go 50 dollars I know they’re gonna be sold at ridiculously low prices on eBay after a year but they didn’t even change anything about the speakers only the materials used to build them

I'm still rocking my JBL pulse 3 it still works great I enjoy listening to it daily when it eventually goes out on me I'll definitely add the new pulse 5 to replace it
I still use my pulse 1. I use it as a wired speaker for my laptop and keep it plugged in cause the battery won't last more than 2 hours on low but it still sounds great 9 years later.
JBL Pulse 5 is a good upgrade, and I can feel more sub bass from the Pulse 5 during the Bike Life song right from the starting first bar of the song itself rather than the pulse 5 feeling it at the last bar of the song! And that RGB lights though!❤️
What an amazing speaker . I bought 2 and don’t feel the need right now to turn on my boombox 2 . They’re loud enough with depth and offer the light show. So good.
My only issue with the Pulse 5 is that GIGANTIC LOGO. I like a more muted look, the handle at the back also makes it difficult to hide the logo by turning it around. Great review as always, Salute!

First of all, your set-up is dope! PartyBoost with the light of Pulse series is MAJOR DOPE. Anyway, I bought this last December 13, 2022 as an additional speaker for my 3y/o Pulse 4 (which I already sold 3weeks after purchasing the 5). I love the light show more on the Pulse 5 as well as its Bass. But the brighter sound of recent JBLs bothers me including this. Good thing this has equalizer so here's my EQ: -1 on Treble, neutral on Mid, and Max on Bass. I know this one sounds better than the Pulse 4 but for me, specifically on Bass. I still like the sound of the 4 a bit, I dunno why. Maybe this 5 is a bit bright for me. I remember how I love Pulse 3's sound than my Pulse 4 because of the stereo effect and more wide sound. Anyway, the battery life of the Pulse 4 is BETTER than the Pulse 5 which is expected and that's one of the best thing about the Pulse 4, you can enjoy lights and sound at the same time and longer than the Pulse 5. Also the body of the Pulse 4 looks better and more consistent. Maybe I'll learn to love my Pulse 5 soon.
Seems like a more refined 4. I like the consolidated buttons and the carrying strap helps because the 4 can be slippery. Wouldn't replace my 4 with this, but if I needed to buy a new one I would get this over the 4

I just bought this in official JBL store at my city mall, its sound very nice and i love the lightshow but i paid so much money for this speaker its so expensive in my country 😄 Anyway its fun to hear WhiteShoes song 😁
As someone who listens to Metal and rock music, the low bass vibrates the whole dask and swallows the little instruments like the hi-hats and some.. my solution, is to put something like a cloth, that will prevent the shake. Works 100% My experience from Jbl flip 4
Hey Floss is the 5 actually louder than the 4? I use my 4 as a shower speaker only. The 5 would need to be louder than what I currently have to make it a worthwhile upgrade. Thanks for the vid!
