Tony Chang sorry I haven’t replied. With most flybarless units trim would be set up in the software of the unit for example Beastx, VBar, Ikon/ Brain. The radio is usually set up as 1 servo 90 whereas the FBL unit is set up at 3 servo 120 so most adjustments are done through the FBL.
hello this seems very overwhelming , i will be setting up a beast x , could i use this as a pitch gauge to begin with until i can do the main shaft leveling? . thank you for this video series on this heli tool
Yes if you don’t want to level the main shaft I would suggest putting the level on the motor and just getting the motor level forward, back, side to side and than just set the pitch on one side and than rotate the other blade to the same spot and level that to 0 also.
@@rcflightline2839 when you say set the pitch on one side what step is that and what video . thank you i am so intrigued by this and would like to learn how to use it
antoine ozaneaux in the video the mainshaft is centered so it doesn’t matter where the blade or gauge is as you turn the head. If you just level off the motor which I do if I’m at the field and don’t have time to really use the potential of a perfect level the Heli could still be off a tiny bit as your turn the head. If you set both blades on the same side of the helicopter you know at least the pitch and 0 will be the same on both blades because you set them in the same spot. I’m not sure if I have a beastx or not but I can do a quick video on the process of setting up a beastx in the morning. The beastx is a pretty simple set up and flies good.
@@rcflightline2839 thank you i fly a blade 300x a 450 x both on ar7200 bx and my new heli align 470lp uses a microbeast plus . it is being assembled by don dewitts. i understand menu g and k but i do not own a pitch gauge so i set everything by feel and swash level by eye . complete idiot basically . i love to tinker for perfection with shitty blade models . i know they have quite a bit of slop but i would like to see how good one could feel if set up proper . thats why i want to buy a pitch gauge or the sokoheli ,the 470 should be pretty dialied when i get it but i want hands free perfection please dont make a beast video until i can get back my remote and new heli ,thank you so very much for your help
great video. are you using your tx trims to adjust?
