Yes sir! America! I’ve got the Freedom Piuma, Freedom RAW 700 and a Freedom Goblin 500! Some people don’t like the color scheme, but I absolutely love it

Jeff wow, double wow 😮, always nice 👍🏻 to see the Freedom 🇺🇸 Raw 700 🚁 fly, but today with the 690 blades and the volume cranked up, I got a full body massage from the 15” woofers 🤣😂 needless to say the helicopter sounds powerfully amazing !

The Freedom RAW is a beast! Even though it’s my go to 700 setup, Xnova 4530, Hobbywing ESC and 12s, it’s a got tons of power and flys amazing! The TB690s give it that old school pop and feel.

God, I love the sound of the 700's. Awesome flight, Jeff, as usual. Think my 2nd heli will be a 700.
Tron Dnamic caught my eye after you built one. Like to stick with 6s for now though.
I've learned so much after binge watching your channel... You rock man!!!
15 years away from RC heli's, Started on a little Dragonfly fixed pitch and after seeing the level they're at now I went the safe option. Man even the little ones have come leaps and bounds in the last few years.
Bought a 500 sized heli (Airwolf of course) with the H1 flight controller and kinda..."regret"... that decision as I wanted a heli I could just fly without worrying too much and although it has a 3d mode it's not very tuneable.
Taught me a lot and I don't push it hard...just scale flying.
Flys great though, Great confidence builder as it's got the GPS as a "rescue" if I get silly with it.
I've spent over 100 hrs on a sim and am getting rather cocky with my flights on that. I can Tick Tock !!!!!!
I love RC as a hobby...just got obsessed again with RC helicopters recently and a huge thanks to you!!..

SAB is an Experience! It really is; my Genesis is underway! From the moment I cracked the package and was blasted with that fresh scent inside, like opening a premium large hardcover book for the first time.
Of course you know my first order of business was inventory, examination and preparation of parts...perfect! I have found my love of the build re-kindled! I am doing something a little extra special for this one haha. Wife just rolled her eyes and asked if wasn't going a little overboard when I laid out plans for an automotive finish: UV high gloss, mirror smooth surface prep and ceramic coat. Um...no! The colors already popped when I inspected the kit; so stand by, you will be able to shave your face in it when I am done.
I know I had plans for OMP and Soxos next...I just dont think I will be able to downgrade now, pretty sure I'm a SAB Snob.
I want to build a Genesis Sport and combine it with IL-Goblin KSE Triblade! SAB customer service is looking into the feasibility of combining the two kits into a Triblade Genesis Sport. Now thats a level of customer service I haven't experienced from any of the others!

Excellent words, but let’s not forget the knowledge gained and the stale smell of opening up a old book / reference manual for the first time in a long time. ☺️

@@scottdearmond5532 I print all my manuals and have them in plastic sheets so I can mark with a sharpie.
I've gotten to where I need a three ring binder for each brand.
I have binders of not just everything I own but also the wishlist I want to build one day.
Upgraded my HP print plan to 500 pages a month :)

SAB has always been top-notch and quality! Still the best in the game to date. Of course you will have some blemishes here and there, but it’s far and few between. I’m actually pretty impressed with the OMP M7 so far. Of course it’s not a SAB but the manual is pretty decent and the fit and finish is very good. A three bladed genesis would be awesome! It’s the same mechanics. The only difference is the fuselage.

    • @westhobbiesrc8051

Thank you! I greatly appreciate it. I run 15° of timing. On both 40xx motors and 45xx motors. That is recommended by Xnova themselves

Hey Jeff, nice flying and vid once again. Have a question for ya. You obviously have and fly multiple 12S and 6S heli’s. I myself fly mainly sport/6S. What’s it like when you fly a 700 and then back down to something like a GOOSKY RS4 Venom, which of course is an amazing machine?

    • @westhobbiesrc8051
      @westhobbiesrc8051  5 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

Thank you! I greatly appreciate it! Great question! So they all have their purpose. For example, the RS4 venom really is a great machine fantastic power to weight ratio almost unable it gets down and does any and everything you ask it to do. I can pick up any helicopter in they all somewhat fly the same to my style. I like to tune or set up a machine to my desired flight style and preferences that way I can jump back-and-forth. Of course a 700 gonna have a lot more float a lot more airtime hang time and a bigger overall presents so maneuvers are gonna be easier to do, the RS4 is the perfect size to practice maneuvers that you’re too nervous to try on a 700.
