Nice FPV flying with this version of the Hawksky...I had the 60amp skylord ESC, it had the same problem you described SMH. Thanks for all your hard work on these videos.
Great review [as usual] Justin. I would like to see this set up in a Volantex 2000 or a plane of similar size. I may have to up the video to at least an 800mw and throw in a Taranis 9X transmitter set up.
Awesome review. Already a patreon supporter Justin. Great to see that your doing an amazing giveaway next month of the Helifar Fuuton 2 for your patreons. I am so excited for the chance to win that. But I get my reward every month with the great content you produce. So to all of you out there who aren't patreons of Justin get signed up it is well worth it and starts from just $1 a month.
Cool plane and nice flight. Next quad (freestyle) review can you show the sticks when you fly like you did in this review. Great review Justin thanks #helpothers
Great demo and a nice glider. Tried to find AK1200 5.8 unable to find it. Would you possibly have the url where one might purchase that transmitter? Happy Flying
Thanks for the great review and flight. I am relatively new at RC flying but really want to get into FPV. I had an opportunity to pick up an out of mfg. VOLANTEX model which included everything needed to FPV including a transmitter with video built-in, a very nice onboard camera and camera transmitter built into the plane. But, as my luck went, so did that airplane. This one seems to be pretty nice. I have done business with Bitgo and find them to be excellent, both in pricing and their customer service side after the sale. They have this plane for sale at an excellent price and with your outstanding review, you might have just convinced me to take the plunge.
Yeah, the Hawksky is a copy of the Bixler, but the Bixler is a copy of the old Multiplex Easy Star. (I have 4 EZStars - I mean 3 - one flew away. Oops...). Nice review.
Incorrect! Hawksky came before the Bixler. Hawksky is a "copy" of the Skysurfer, as is the Bixler. The Skysurfer is a "copy" of the Easy Star. Order of appearance (not including the many other brands): Easy Star -> Skysurfer -> Hawksky -> Bixler. This FPV version is indeed a recent addition however. The non FPV Hawksky has been around for a very long time.
Fine review, makes me want one of those planes! Thanks for posting this informative video!
Nice plane. Good job Justin
Thanks

The hawk sky was around a long time before bixler . Mine is still flying after 10 years
What's the best rtf fpv plane as of today? I do have a taranis and goggles. Just want to avoid my own build because they never seem to last. TIA
I'd be using something like this to drop leaflets into N.korea. I always wondered if they used drones and rc instead of the balloons .
HI Justin, is there any chance that you can review one of our FPV kit?
HI Yaxin. Please send an email to : dronecamps@gmail.com
email sent, thank you~
So Kool... thanks
That gets some time in the air. How much?
