It was gigantic, and the hundreds of pieces it was made of were nothing but shades of grey and rusty orange, and by the time I was finished, I had to be checked into Pescadero State Hospital.

While I haven't touched a jigsaw puzzle in decades, I can imagine younger me getting excited about that T2 puzzle. Once finished, I most likely would've pestered my parents to have it framed and put up on my bedroom wall or something. That's some cool fan art right there. It would never occur to me to create prop business cards like that, that's pretty neat.
Hell yeah! I would have probably had the spare time and determination to finish it back then, and as much work as it would probably take to finish all the black pieces, I'd probably try and convince my folks to frame it for me, too! Don't wanna brag, but I actually found the secret freeze frame this time 😎 The improvement in production quality since Season 1 is INSANE. If you keep upgrading the studio, you're gonna start getting offers from actual TV networks to rent it out 😉 Now onto the episode. Who knew assembling a jigsaw puzzle could be such an emotional roller-coaster! The amount of solid black was the first thing I thought of when I learned what the picture was 😅 On a positive note, I feel like Total Recall would have been even harder... I sincerely hope they never did Showgirls 😆 RIP, Camera Man. May he finish assembling this puzzle in the afterlife. Love the Mail Call section. Was really cool to see Michael featured. When you introduced him as "the greatest T1 fan in the world", I thought "No way there's an even T1 fan out there!" Of course not. We were thinking of the same guy 😆 The Tiki Motel business card is fantastic. Great to see another video from you. I like how you did the thumbnail placing the puzzle pieces onto the table from a scene in the T2 movie. It looks rather seamless. I’m not a person who is into doing jigsaw puzzles but I’m sure there are others who can find the fun in doing them. I know there are people who once they finish completing one they will frame it to show off the work they had done and I can see the appeal in that too especially if it was a very large puzzle. I’m sure that was the purpose of making this series of movie poster jigsaw puzzles so that people could frame them once they were finished. I mean they even made them poster sized. To be honest I was kind of hoping to see the puzzle be completed but I understand why you would not want to complete it if it’s not something you don’t really want to do. 1:25 I thought this little joke was funny being handed a card that basically says to just get to the point. I was actually kind of interested to see what you had to say on the history of the jigsaw puzzle. I also like to think this is a jab at how some videos get too meticulous with their information and explain a topic that, while relevant to the subject of the video, isn’t really that necessary to discuss and include. 3:22 I heard the Tourettes Guy again 😆 Since you fell I was expecting the puzzle pieces to be scattered all over the floor which then in turn reminded me of that clip of Tourettes Guy and the box of paper towels that fell from under the box he was carrying down the stairs th-cam.com/video/n7DKh5UZNiI/w-d-xo.html 8:00 I like the detail that the placement of the stamps are in the rhythm of the Terminator theme. 12:58 I’m looking forward to what you have to say about the T2 NES game. P.S. I saw the hidden frame and I have to say it is interesting to see an angle of the set that is usually not shown. Those sure are a lot of lights. I honestly think it’s so cool that you made a whole set where you record your videos. Was the set built in your garage? How long did it take to build up the whole set? By the way I love the design that is on the carpet as it is movie theater themed with the film reels and popcorn. Goes well with the set revolved around one of the greatest movies of all time. For a bit there I didn't think it was going to work, but I was finally able to pull it off and be satisfied with the results. Glad you like it! Like you, I'm not real big into puzzles myself. I mean, I guess I find them a little enjoyable if they're not too challenging, because I wouldn't enjoy staring at one and just guessing at random pieces for hours like I had to do for this episode, haha. Not my idea of fun, but I can see why some people enjoy it. I do often see these framed up in peoples' collections. Glad you caught the secret frame! I normally like to keep the details of the "studio" a secret, but the truth is - it's in my woodshop! 😆 Regarding seeing the other angles of the set that aren't seen on the show, my plan is that some day if there's ever enough demand for some sort of Patreon-exclusive feed, I'll do occasional behind-the-scenes videos where I'll sort of tour the set so people can see all the stuff that's off-camera. I think that would be fun. I've actually filmed TONS of behind-the-scenes stuff that I've stockpiled over the years so I'll have plenty of content ready-to-go in case I ever do launch something like that. Part of the reason it took so long to build the set was because I made sure to film everything, haha. Regarding the carpet - I'm glad you like that! I actually pulled it out of a dumpster of a local movie theater that was being all remodeled after the 2020 derecho (basically a land hurricane) destroyed the lobby. @@Tfor2show Well your brother had a good idea with that design of the thumbnail then. In my opinion a video’s thumbnail can be just as important as the content of the video itself. It is always amusing to hear voice lines from the Tourettes Guy. I do remember you mentioned before that you think about me whenever you add in his lines to a video in a different previous response. I’m sure others noticed that the “Mail Call” title card has the Terminator theme in it. I always appreciate and point out small details like that though. It’s actually a great idea to not watch any other review of the NES game until you actually do your own review. That way you won’t have any outsider influence from their reviews. It is cool that you built the set in your woodshop. Also what an interesting way that you obtained the carpet out of a dumpster and that it actually came from your local movie theater. I suppose dumpster diving can actually be useful at times. Also I know that the word “derecho” comes from Spanish but I didn’t know that it was also used as a term to describe a type of storm so I learned something new from your comment. @@ZM256. Yeah man, I agree about the importance of thumbnails for sure. That's why I've really agonized over some of them, haha. Others I've been really easy to put together. Every one is a little different in terms of how challenging, but I really enjoy making them. And yeah, that the derecho was intense. If you feel like it, Google "Cedar Rapids Derecho." It all happened over the course of about 30 minutes. Some people were left without power for days. Fortunately only one person died. But yeah, the front windows of the local theater were completely blown out, and the lobby was trashed. I just happened to be driving by the theater a few days later, and I saw a huge dumpster outside that had a bunch of rolls of that cool-looking carpet sticking out the top. So I couldn't resist grabbing a few rolls, haha. And then a few months later, when I decided to build the set for the show, I was really glad I had them!
Holy shit! Two-thousand piece puzzles?? Those must be intense! I think I MIGHT have put together one or two 1000-piece puzzles in my life... but never a 2000-piece!

Glad you dug the Mail Call segment! I've been wanting to debut that for a long time! The little animated logo (and the accompanying audio logo) was a ton of work! I'm so glad to finally have that behind me so I can whip it out for future episodes whenever I need it. And you're right - Michael is amazing! I'd been telling him for awhile that I looked forward to any excuse I could find to plug his account on the show. It was so satisfying to finally get to do so!

I like how you did the thumbnail placing the puzzle pieces onto the table from a scene in the T2 movie. It looks rather seamless.
I’m not a person who is into doing jigsaw puzzles but I’m sure there are others who can find the fun in doing them. I know there are people who once they finish completing one they will frame it to show off the work they had done and I can see the appeal in that too especially if it was a very large puzzle.
I’m sure that was the purpose of making this series of movie poster jigsaw puzzles so that people could frame them once they were finished. I mean they even made them poster sized.
To be honest I was kind of hoping to see the puzzle be completed but I understand why you would not want to complete it if it’s not something you don’t really want to do.
1:25 I thought this little joke was funny being handed a card that basically says to just get to the point. I was actually kind of interested to see what you had to say on the history of the jigsaw puzzle.
I also like to think this is a jab at how some videos get too meticulous with their information and explain a topic that, while relevant to the subject of the video, isn’t really that necessary to discuss and include.

I honestly think it’s so cool that you made a whole set where you record your videos. Was the set built in your garage? How long did it take to build up the whole set?
By the way I love the design that is on the carpet as it is movie theater themed with the film reels and popcorn. Goes well with the set revolved around one of the greatest movies of all time.

Like you, I'm not real big into puzzles myself. I mean, I guess I find them a little enjoyable if they're not too challenging, because I wouldn't enjoy staring at one and just guessing at random pieces for hours like I had to do for this episode, haha. Not my idea of fun, but I can see why some people enjoy it.

Glad you caught the secret frame! I normally like to keep the details of the "studio" a secret, but the truth is - it's in my woodshop! 😆
Regarding seeing the other angles of the set that aren't seen on the show, my plan is that some day if there's ever enough demand for some sort of Patreon-exclusive feed, I'll do occasional behind-the-scenes videos where I'll sort of tour the set so people can see all the stuff that's off-camera. I think that would be fun. I've actually filmed TONS of behind-the-scenes stuff that I've stockpiled over the years so I'll have plenty of content ready-to-go in case I ever do launch something like that. Part of the reason it took so long to build the set was because I made sure to film everything, haha.
Regarding the carpet - I'm glad you like that! I actually pulled it out of a dumpster of a local movie theater that was being all remodeled after the 2020 derecho (basically a land hurricane) destroyed the lobby.

It is always amusing to hear voice lines from the Tourettes Guy. I do remember you mentioned before that you think about me whenever you add in his lines to a video in a different previous response.
I’m sure others noticed that the “Mail Call” title card has the Terminator theme in it. I always appreciate and point out small details like that though.
It’s actually a great idea to not watch any other review of the NES game until you actually do your own review. That way you won’t have any outsider influence from their reviews.
It is cool that you built the set in your woodshop. Also what an interesting way that you obtained the carpet out of a dumpster and that it actually came from your local movie theater. I suppose dumpster diving can actually be useful at times. Also I know that the word “derecho” comes from Spanish but I didn’t know that it was also used as a term to describe a type of storm so I learned something new from your comment.

@@ZM256. Yeah man, I agree about the importance of thumbnails for sure. That's why I've really agonized over some of them, haha. Others I've been really easy to put together. Every one is a little different in terms of how challenging, but I really enjoy making them.
And yeah, that the derecho was intense. If you feel like it, Google "Cedar Rapids Derecho." It all happened over the course of about 30 minutes. Some people were left without power for days. Fortunately only one person died. But yeah, the front windows of the local theater were completely blown out, and the lobby was trashed.
I just happened to be driving by the theater a few days later, and I saw a huge dumpster outside that had a bunch of rolls of that cool-looking carpet sticking out the top. So I couldn't resist grabbing a few rolls, haha. And then a few months later, when I decided to build the set for the show, I was really glad I had them!
Im still a fan of puzzles today. I have 1000 pieces to 2000 pieces to photomosaics of Star Wars related or Marvel related. Im a puzzlemaniac!!!
Holy shit! Two-thousand piece puzzles?? Those must be intense! I think I MIGHT have put together one or two 1000-piece puzzles in my life... but never a 2000-piece!

I actually had that puzzle as a kid my dad bought it fully put together and glued on a big piece of cardboard but sadly I lost it
