All your training has helped my dog look to me vs distraction. I was outside a store today, doing tricks with my dog while waiting for my son, when a small, unleashed dog ran crazily towards us. It stopped and barked from five feet away. My dog ignored the other dog, as we kept doing tricks. I am amazed!!!!
Unbelievable generosity in sharing these videos. Have only just discovered and am totally hooked. Have come from the horse world where Im increasingly saddened by the lack of attunement to the horse's wishes and natural behaviour. Wonderful to see such a kind way of teaching dogs. Thank you soooooo much.

Hi just got myself a small dog and wanting to train her and found your TH-cam channel love it 👍👍 my puppy has the basics sit, drop, stay and come with a lure and going to start with these three tricks as well😁 can’t wait to watch and teach her everything else you have 👍thanks

Hey Susan! I also grew up training a black miniature poodle! I took her to "Obedience Classes" that used the common methods of the day (1960s). She, and many subsequent dogs, learned and performed well in spite of the punitive methods. Fast forward and you are one of many positive trainers that has helped me evolve in my teaching of dogs. I'm now as positive as they come, allowing my dogs (and clients' dogs) to lead the way. After all, dogs are the best teachers of all!
I'd love to see a Perch Work video. I have been unsuccessful at teaching my puppy to do it so far and would appreciate seeing simple steps on how to teach it.
Love your training videos. I bought the crate training stream for my 5 month old rescue, Lebeau. He now loves his crate and follows the commands without hesitation in two training sessions. He loves the "work" and we are making headway in his first 5 days in his new home. Awesome!! Thank you, thank you!
That’s such a good point you made about teaching tricks and training to sit etc. My temperament is so different when training than when we’re playing/ tricks 🕊🕊
