Love that texture in the gesso - and fabulous colour combination... I don't think there's anything wrong in working through a colour obsession. If that's what the heart, eyes and fingers want, then that's what they should have. If it's still calling to you, then it still has a job to do in what you are creating. Alison (butterfly) xx
I adore every teeny tiny bit of this spread!!! Those colors and textures are just WOW! There are color combinations here that I never would have thought to use, so thank you for that and for all of your wonderful videos! :)
France, it was so enjoyable to watch this video and your process. Adding the purple and spraying it with water gave such a beautiful effect in those grooves you created in the Gesso. TFS! Sue
Oh France I can't get my hands on enough of the ColourArte products fast enough for me. I love this dramatic color choice. Such Royalty. You know I'm stuck in Park on your Art. Always an Inspiration for me. Merci, Mon Ami, Lynda
We all love your color schemes. They are almost signature to your design! For me, I must fall in love with a new color scheme to evolve from an old one. You know what they say; "You don't find love, love finds you." You can fall in love with a new color scheme anywhere you turn. You might see a piece of jewelry that you fall in love with, and the colors are unforgettable to you. You might find colors that spark your heart in a Christmas or birthday card you receive later on in years. You will! It's undeniable, because we as your viewers have seen the transitions in your inspirations over time in videos, and for you might be undetectable because you live each long moment of your life, not noticing every slight cause and effect that leads you to where you are. Whatever colors you use, you make them your own, and you inspire so many of us with the love you use them with!
I get stuck in using the same color scheme as well and I find it's best to just let it take it's course until you're ready to move on. Love this spread!
As usual this is so beautiful. I'm glad that you are working with ColoureArte products so I can see all kinds of ways to use them. A girl has to have some secrets just so she can have a twinkle in her eye!
I have to say... this one really caught my eye. I love everything about it. The colors, how you made the grooves in the gesso, and then streamed the color thru it. You have inspired me.
France, this page is gorgeous. I especially love the edges done with Silks - I've just ordered my first ever Silks so I'm excited to try them on a blending foam. Thank you again for the inspiration!
Love this, looks like a city on the top with the reflection of it in clear water on the bottom, of course, just my view, hee hee!! Am enjoying several of your videos, very informative and your voice is easy to listen to. Thanks for sharing your talent!
I think this is one of my favorites. Love the colors. And when you added the purple in the scraped areas, all I could think was "WOW!!!" I've really been enjoying where your art is going. You make it look so easy. 😊 But my pages rarely turn out so cool. Thank you for continuing to share your art. 😊
Why is there no 'LOVE' button?????? This is my favorite piece that you have ever done, and I adore all of them. For some reason, this just spoke to my heart and I thank you for a spiritual experience while watching you today.
Hello France, I love your art journals. I have been struggling to get creating again and you have had me inspired for some time and today I finally made it back into my studio and completed a page in my art journal. Thank you so very much for sharing so much of yourself to us in your art. xx
I LOVE this France! Everything you create is inspiring. Thanks for the tip on the glue, I have been trying different ones but I've never tried the Soft Matte glue, will give that one a go : )
I found you tonight (10/7/2020), I enjoyed listening to you! I do not paint, however, I'd love to design jounal pages. I diffinetly need calmness in my life; You might be the answer. My husband has Parinson, Dementia, Diabetes and Heart Disease. Thank you for being there!.
Hi France! Love your art! You're so creative! Been watching a lot of your videos and now I am finally subsribing too! :) You're such an inspiration! Thanks for sharing your art! Greetings from Sweden!
Beautiful spread! TFS! I don't mind that you are stuck with this color scheme. When you are ready to play with a colors, you will. If it bothers you, maybe introduce one different color and see where that takes you. Sometimes I feel I have to use a material that I only own in certain colors, and it works for me when I add an unusual embellishment. Have fun experimenting, Ildiko
I've been subscribed to your channel for a long time now and you never disappoint. I love this page and the way the colors flow together. I always forget to use a baby wipe to blend colors but with these results I'll remember for the future. Love the idea of using a Fineliner bottle for your glue. Is it matte fluid medium you are using as glue? Merci infiniment.
I just got a pile of old books and I thought I could try this kind of "art diary" thing. So a question: do you tear out some unused pages to make more room if some of the layers get too thick or difficult to fit in? Ah I don't know how to explain it in english, sorry..

silks are liquide, its an acrylic glaze. ;)
allo, france! love your pages, always! i have a question for you: my Silks are solid, whereas yours seem liquid. ?? Please advise? merci!
+Micki High don't mix up the twinkling H2O (solid) and Silks. But if your silks turned solid, you can add water to them.
where did you get the scraper tool? Thank you.
itriedagain100 at an art store, though I don't remember which one...
I am trying to find the video that you use the butterfly on a transparent sheet and added it to the completed page. Help please.
Toni, that's JoM 104 you're talking about, called 'Find me'...

What exactly does the wording say?
I am stuck in the Blue/Brown color scheme........
