    I am studying economy and Potential GDP these days. My teacher told that earlier people did not have two wheelers, but now they have as per Household consumption expenditure data, so poverty has reduced in India. And now I am studying this. That is why I want to become Bureaucrat, to distribute wealth by Progressive taxation. 😂

    Your lectures helps me to connect the dots of contemporary socio-economic society. Thanks for conducting such sessions free of cost. There is one suggestion/request, whatever quotes you provide in classes to use them in answer writng, please write them also in the description of the particular video, just like you write "In this lecture, we will study about" in the description section. It will be helpful to match/crosscheck.

    • @kaarwan-e-upsc
      @kaarwan-e-upsc  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Capital is the initial money you invest to earn profit..... New Money after profit could also become capital if reinvested.
      Capital is money which produces more money.
      Therefore, Both could act as capital depending on one's purpose and intention.

    sir can we say capitalist are afraid of workers also because it the labour which can produce wealth so they can become capitalist on their own

    • @kaarwan-e-upsc
      @kaarwan-e-upsc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No... That's not the case.... Being a capitalist depends on ownership of forces of production (who monopolises over or control FOP)... It doesn't depend on production of wealth per se... but rather on who is able to appropriate this wealth or surplus!!

    • @Akshay00911
      @Akshay00911 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kaarwan-e-upsc sir main ye bolna chaa rha tha Karl marx kehte ki labour hee wealth produce karti hain . labour have skill of production . so why cant they become capitalist on their own and monopolise {MOP} and why we need revolution or communism .

    • @kaarwan-e-upsc
      @kaarwan-e-upsc  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Akshay00911 Because... It's relative.... A person can be a capitalist only if there is a proletariat.... For instance, we can define good only in relation to evil... If there is no evil, how can there be good.
      Also, The forces of production are controlled by the capitalist....established power is in hands of the capitalist.... Therefore, a revolution is needed to wrest these FOP from control of the capitalist.
      Also, when I am saying that only the labour can produce wealth,... It means only the proletariat engages in production and not the capitalist... And this labour and production is controlled by the capitalist.
      A proletariat can not produce on his own because he doesn't control FOP..... And if all the proletariats can not turn into capitalists... Because if everyone is a capitalist, then there is no proletariat.... The existence of the capitalist depends on the existence of the proletariat.
