Great video as always. I love your brief overviews of games. I wish I'd picked up Auf Teufel Komm Raus at Essen last year.

Actualol Hi Jon - yes, you really should grab a copy of Aug Teufel when you can. I think it’s right up your street!

Two of my most played games of all time are Dice Heist and Dead Man's Draw. Very cool to see you highlight these great little games. I think push your luck is one of the easier game mechanisms to get non or casual gamers interested and excited about playing games. Great tension without burning your brain.

You have the ability to really find them hidden gems. Tempurra seems like an insta buy for me. Thanks again for the insightful videos. I always love watching them.

So happy to see love for dice heist. My mum's favourite game from my collection.

Jo Mc It’s a great game because it really can be played with anyone, but it’s not mindless. Such a simple mechanism creates so many great moments of celebration (or bitter disappointment when the dice don’t go your way!)

Polterfass is a great great game. Takes a round or two for everyone to catch on, but it's always a big hit.

Another fascinating video - thanks very much. Have recently watched several of yours, and I always come away enthused over a new game or two and having learnt something new. I feel similarly to you about Celestia - my family like it, and I enjoy it, but I haven't really worked out any tactics apart from saying "Best get out, I'm going to crash!" - then of course everyone knows you're bluffing! I've yet to win anyway. 2-player luck-pushers that I enjoy: Shanghaien and Capo de Capi. Are you in Cardiff? I can recommend a lovely "Board game B&B" called the Dell House in Great Malvern - not too far from you. Just spent a lovely weekend there. Keep up the excellent work.

I love your videos: great insight in mechanisms, you always talk about surprising games I don't know, with a short explanation and preview of the game... plus I love your British accent!

I'm not sure I agree that blackjack counts as "push your luck". You're pushing something, but it's not your luck. You're balancing your odds of going bust with the odds of losing to the dealer. It's missing the factor of actually losing your winnings.
