- Today Dave and I struggle to contact fish. Stuck on old patterns, we flip the script and start a short line trolling run, the results came right away.
Short line trolling is a great way to cover water, and find new structure. We used it to put together a pattern and throw three fish in the net, on an otherwise miserable day.
Consider some short line trolling next time you feel stuck in a pattern...
