I appreciate you taking time to go through all that.
Frankly I wouldnt have the spirit or patience to go through such depressing room after room.
Kudos to you & your steely patience.
I believe my 6 yr old scribbles & attempts at coloring was represented in so many of these .. umm ... "works of art"!!!! example 19:13 . Geez!!

I had to watch for 51 whole, long minutes to actually find something interesting (at 51:24).
God only know how long more I have to watch to see the 2nd interesting "work of art"!
Edit: Yup. The next interesting one was at 1:20:57 ... and the very last!
      Decline of modern art!

"funny" and/or "amusing" or "no problem" - these are the directions of today's painting. Created by children, even if they have long gone beyond childhood. Probably, this is not good and not bad, it is - until the fashion changes.

Thank you for this video. It's a true visit from the comfort of my living room. Unfortunately most of the works have no proper identity or personality. You can interchange any name on almost any piece without it being really questionable. Almost everything looks like decoration for hotels or LA mansions. Same happens in other big Art fairs. It all has the "look the same fashion trend" emptiness. Playing with materials within a spiritual horror vacui and see if it sells. Patterns, collages, dots and stripes without other meaning than the proper exhibition of it being it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but not all art is beautiful and it’s all certainly relative. But you still had a strong reaction towards most of the gallery, as harsh or negative as it might be. Some might argue that is in fact the epitome of art, to cause a reaction. I’d argue that anything that gives us a certain emotional reaction could be debated as art to some.

As our society evolves, becoming more oppressive, artistic expression becomes more constricted and reveals the agonized yearning of creators who are unable to transcend their structured environs.

So artists are to be judged as a group lot? Sounds like a mind of prejudice. I will never understand such thinking, that leads people to make a blanket judgement over a whole, massive, worldwide group of highly diverse individuals. Mind blown. You don't see one single piece of art in the whole show worthy of any positive judgement from you? Mind blown again.

Hahaha. "What?" is right! That statement, whatever it was intended to mean, is badly written and incomprehensible. I don't know what it means. All I do know is that if you visit any art gallery or any museum nowadays, you will surely encounter an embarrassingly overwhelming plethora of politically-correct, liberal "feel good", specifically racially charged "diversity" art by and about blacks and blackness. Mark my word, you will walk away having seen FAR more such art than you ever thought possible, appropriate, or warranted.

What an absolute disgrace the Armory Show has been for awhile. If you want to see art that has meaning and somehow can make waves, you have to go to the biennials or Documenta Kassel...honestly, what an absolute display of mediocrity and comercial crap. The most clear evidence of what kind of a failure these kind of events are, is the overwhelming presence of paintings - that is when you know the real goal of these awful shows. These events are only glorified showcases to target very wealthy clients looking to decorate their expensive homes, nothing else. Now we know, that not even art has escaped the claws of neoliberalism.
