UPDATE: Ali Smith's novel 'Gliff' is eligible in 2025, not 2024. And so I change the 'star' card book prediction to Claire Messud.

I am poor at reading but I have once read all or most of an abridged children's version of 'Black Beauty' by Anna Sewell, illustrated by Neil Reed.
I think that these Booker Prize readers are geniuses for reading so many novels!

Your longlist reaction needs to be a tarot reading predicting the winner!
I think you've misread the woman with experience que, as Ali Smith has an early release in our part of the world, she's not eligible until next year. Maybe that's a second card predicting Alexis Wright.
