as a fellow citizen of trinbago...i do admit that it is a cultural issue concerning time keeping, as for me I hate being held to time, it stresses me out...usually i make arrangement to meet within a time span rather than a specific time....i really feel controlled when i am being held to time...this will never change in Trinidad and Tobago...better to have phone contact and updates without anger and being disgruntled...understand the cultural aspect of the people, it will not change .

Wow I never knew Beetham Gardens had all these nice community facilities. It's a shame that so many of the young people there don't take advantage of the resources made available to them to be better but I was very happy to hear about the success of those four siblings.

These parents have done a terrible job. And wants to blame the government. There are so much opportunities to get kids involved in positive stuff. These kids have state of the art sporting facilities, community swimming facilities, modern community centers, trade schools for free. Where are the people in the community. To start little leagues sports teams. Mentorship’s. The business community. That’s how it’s done in cities in the developed world. These kids join these gangs. Because of lack of good parenting and guidance..Parents don’t want to take responsibility for their parenting failures. So they pass the blame onto the government. People looking in from the outside. Don’t know how much has been done by government for these people. If they prioritize their lives. Things are going to change.
Government's can't save people, they have to save themselves...the provision is there to take advantage of..free education, one of the highest literacy rates in the world with qualifications that are accepted world wide.
Please tell me what else the government have to do. Free education straight to university level. And help those who can't afford university education. Free trade and skills school education for those who are not book gifted and good with their hands. Free health care. How can those Trinis can't get a job but every Venezuelan, Jamaican, Guyanese, Nigerian coming to Trinidad and finding work.
