Awesome content as usual Chelsea. I recently coated my girlfriend's Dodge Charger with BC1 and topped it with BC3 and the car looked amazing afterwards. I've always liked Brian's products and, because I don't have a garage, the shorter cure time is a great benefit.

LOVE Brian at Apex and his BC product line ! I’ve used the products on my own as well as friends vehicles and everyone loves them. Even did a BC1/BC3 combo in direct sunlight in the summer in Florida without ANY issues whatsoever !!! GREAT stuff indeed :)
Chelsea, that’s a really nice transformation! Have you tried BC7? I picked up a bottle, waiting for a bit warmer temps to do my car. I’ve used Kronos on several other cars, it’s a good coating but I wanted to try Brian’s as well.
I have not tried BC7 yet

I love your content. I recently tried Blue Collar products to improve the gloss on my car. After polishing my car the gloss meter was readings between 94 to 97. I applied BC7, which I found to be user-friendly and easy to both apply and remove, making it an overall pleasant product to work with. After allowing it to cure for over 12 hours I checked the gloss level, it neither improved nor decreased the gloss with 96.4 reading.
I then applied BC3 and it was easy to apply and remove. After letting it cure for more than 24 hours, I performed another gloss test, and to my disappointment, I noted a decrease in gloss, with a reading of 92.3.
While both BC7 and BC3 are indeed user-friendly and easy to work with, they did not deliver my desire for enhanced gloss. If gloss is not your priority, then they are both worth a try.

Had a 2015 High Country (HC) in Deep Ruby Metallic
A 2017 HC in iridescent Pearl tricoat & currently have a 21 HC in Northsky Blue Metallic.

I will be applying BC1 on Friday to a Tesla. Probably going to let it sit no more then 1 min. I really like his Metal Oxide coating but hoping this is a much more enjoyable and easier application and removal.
Good video I also have a 2020 Silverado, not that filthy but it definitely takes a while to clean:detail the interior
That's the most rainbowing I've ever seen on camera. Perhaps because it was on black paint? Awesome job on the complete detail.

Hi Chelsea, not sure if you are wearing masks when you apply coatings, but in my opinion its a good idea due to the toxicity of these ingredients, whether the garage is well ventilated or not, i consider it to be better safe than sorry. The fumes from these coatings are quite overpowering and i wouldnt like to be breathing them in for hours on end
Can I ask how much the entire job inside and out cost this customer? You did an amazing job and I am stunned at the transformation.

I know it's highly contested, but you're one of the only channels that have used both products, BC1 and Underdog Pro.
Would you consider undrdog pro equitable to BC1?
I was disappointed with the chemical resistance and longevity of Undrdog Pro but haven’t tested bc1 to the same degree so unfortunately can’t give a true comparison for durability but for application bc1 was easier to apply and I personally like supporting Brian who has been a mentor to me so would lean to BC1
Excellent work. Looks amazing. I've become fond of coatings like CQuartz SiC and Gyeon's Pure EVO because I could coat the whole hood of that truck and then easily wipe it down with no fuss. I have 2 bottles of BC3 but have not had a chance to try it yet. Perhaps next week. 😇

I did need to crack the garage door but it was tolerable. Some make me feel sick, this did not. Just don’t put your nose right up to it and inhale. Lol

I’ve never seen numbered towels before. Always a big issue tracking towel side for me too when I used to try the Gary Dean method for rinseless
Autofiber quadrant towels are ah-MAZING! I forget all the time and this helps me keep track but they are amazingly soft yet durable for coatings.

Really been considering this to replace my gloss coat. Looks to be very user friendly and glossy! Also considering ethos graphene 2.0, not sure which direction to go

@@attention2detailswchelsea agreed. I’ll be ordering soon. I still have around 2/3 of a gallon of tec582, but I think I’ll be going bc3 next round. Tec582 just takes forever to use because I dilute it 1:1 😂

Great video Chelsea. Would be good to see the durability of this stuff. Question re tbe softbox light. Are u using that to help with the lighting for the coating or for tbe video lighting? What size is it? The link says 20" x 28" but looks bigger r than that. Thx in advance
That’s specifically for seeing the coating and checking for high spots.

Turned out nice. What did you used for the two step and pads ?
I showed that in the video. Oberk Sole polish and Optimum Hyper Polish with yellow Rupes foam pad and white foam pad
Once it rainbows , what happens if you wipe it off in say 30 seconds instead of a minute ?
Can BC3 be used over any new coating after 4 hours or just the BC1?
You can use it as a topper or drying aid but I would wait to apply it until it’s fully cured because some products may not pair well with the chemistry and could be a problem for the fresh coatings but bc1 is the same chemical dna that it should be fine as long as Brian has said it’s fine

Question for you. After coating is applied and I wait 4 hours to add BC3 the car is good to be driven? Will it be okay if it gets rained on within a day or two after coating and BC3 have been insatlled?
It’s safe to drive and even get wet 4 hrs later if topped with bc3

Loving Kronos I don't think I'll change over at this point, but what's your thoughts between these 2 Kronos and BC1
My experience with Kronos was that it was not as user friendly as bc1 but they are also two very different products. Kronos is thicker in application as it adds more thickness to the paint, but is also a completely different type of chemical composition and application process. I had difficulty with high spots with Kronos but also didn’t have my Softbox light when I used it so that may have made a difference. Personally I prefer coatings more like bc1 in application (rainbowing, not grabby, Work one panel at a time) but that’s not to say Kronos isn’t a fantastic product and some would prefer that over bc1 due to adding thickness to the paint, more durability and more pro grade

Great video, Chelsea! I was going to ask you how this compares in your opinion to McKees37's original Graphene Coating and Shine Supply's Beadlock Pro, but the fact that you said this will become your 3-5 year option moving forward speaks volumes. I'm going to be coating a friend's 2018 Subaru Forester soon, and am looking for a very-easy-to-work-with option in the 3-5 year range. This might be it! Especially since I already have BC3.
I think you’ll enjoy it. The Mckees graphene is another Stella option and sheets so it’s still my 5 yr coating and their graphene pro coat 2.0 is my 5+ yr coating. I’m selling BC1 as my 2-3 yr coating, Mckees graphene as my 3-5 yr and pro coat as my 5+ yr option.

Far too many coatings. Its insane having 100 different ceramic coatings claming years of durability
They are the popular item these days and are getting easier and more affordable so of course the market will be flooded with them. But this was designed by a professional detailer who had specific requirements he was looking for and everything I’ve see is what I look for in a product so 👍🏻

What does your husband do? Have you ever featured him on your channel before?
He has his own HVAC company with a partner (Smart Air) that they started over a year ago. He HATES having even his picture taken so being in videos would never happen unfortunately. I try to squeeze him in there every now and again but he’d rather not be in videos so I try to respect his decision.
