This is an excellent reading, with the reader putting himself into the emotions of a grief poem. I have discovered something interesting; that the poem was never written by Edgar Allan Poe, whose claim to authorship was simply a scam, similar to today's "identity theft" scams. I've found overwhelming evidence (no hyperbole) that it was written by Mathew Franklin Whittier, the younger brother of Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier, from real-life circumstances in December of 1841. Mathew had lost his beloved wife Abby nine months earlier.
