Hi Robert.. Great video, but I have a bit on an issue. The script worked fine on a personal windows 11 system, but when I tried to run it on a windows 10 system repository not found ??? what would cause this
Wow! this is taking a while to install all these! It just finished and I posted the previous message when it was on 8 of 12. Oh, the comments aren't visible? Is that my computer or a setting you chose?
I see just this message. Maybe you didn't press the 'send' button? Yes, all the modules take a while, especially Azure and the Graph simply because they have so many components. The time take also depends on your PC as well as your Internet connection. However, you can just run the script and walk away and come back when it is all done.
@@directorcia Interesting! I see on 2 different computers that (before posting this one) that the page says there are 5 comments, but only see 2 - mine starting with WOW and your reply. I know when I posted that missing first for me comment, it said there were 2 comments but I didn't see either. Typed my first, hit reply and it said there were 3 comments, but didn't show any. Then the wow comment showed . I think my first post was asking if you would suggest running the script every so often - updates to those modules come out? Would the script install updates or just new clean installs? And then how often would you recommend running the script? I do see now that the script finished that if I re-run it, it doesn't check if the modules are already installed? It just installs it again (not as quick, but likely answers the question of a newer version, if available, WILL install? Also, I was thanking you for the video along with the script itself. I have muddled my way through trying to get some of yours and others files from github. Clicking the RAW button and then pasting into ISE was very easy. And I hadn't used ISE before. Oh, also, I was asking if it makes sense for you to install a revision number or release date in the script itself. That way, when someone already has the script, they can easily see if what's on github is the same or newer? You do make tweaks to scripts as microsoft changes things? I noticed that when running the script, it gets to about 7 of 12 and the blue lower window doesn't show anything, at least on my PC (the text / upper part of the blue window is covered by the middle 'installing package...' verbiage on a white background. Even with resizing windows and using the scroll bars. And I think I've seen scripts (maybe yours?) that will rerun itself as administrator if not started as administrator. I saw the 4th to last line with the error message about needing to rerun as admin. Any comment if I am remembering that a script can elevate itself that you didn't do that here? thank you again for these!
@@beckywiththebadhair8331 The scripts run as long as it takes to install and modules and messages from PowerShell via those pop ups are not something I can control
Thank you Robert. You've really helped me out. This script is wonderful and worked on Windows 11 too. Your videos are excellent.
I am a beginner, and i find this very helpful. Thank you bro!
Great work Robert - saved me looking for all the modules - trying this on my new Windows 11 install

@@beckywiththebadhair8331 Watch for a video on my update script o365-update.ps1 that you can now use once you have the modules installed.
