I remember facing this sort of deck with my earth machines, which was real annoying for them since theres no earth plunder monster for them to take advantage of, making them pretty stuck with just relying on their kaijus
It's such a shame, the deck has such a nice engine but lacks the extra deck to play, it requires mere 2 slots in a Core Set to release these cards. Although I believe the deck deserves a Water ship as well.

I play the one-ofs you mentioned, the equip sucks to draw, but the fusion is such a great discard, it allows for easy Field Spell effect in grave + an equip to a hard-made Moerk.

I haven’t played in two years and decide to play in a regional today, had fun but I will say that brave engine is nuts. I went x-3 overall and two of my losses were strictly because of the brave token bounce and negate, the other loss was pretty much because of d shifter.
Red beard is really good because you can use him to bounce back from the grave and equipt to give your monsters quick effects! He really helps keeps the quick effect status turned on which is a core part to success of the deck! I feel you sold him a bit short in this vid Cali ngl.
Especially with adventure and parallel exceed you can set up a moerk with 2 material and equipped with fateful adventure that gives him 1 battle protect and you can prevent destruction the only way to clear him is with a kaiju it's a pretty solid defence

@@Nominod the purpose behind the Kaijus in plunder is generally used for going 2nd, since they allow you to cheat out your ships without heavily relying on your opponent as much and break boards easily. It’s especially good against decks that are earth, water, and wind, since we have no extra deck monsters for this not counting Blackbeard.
the equip and the fusion spell are really good but since they aren't necessary you can just drop them as you said ngl tho, sometimes i really wish i had a single emblem for extension after banishing something through moerk and for the atk boost or just activate, bounce with field spell and activate again it's just that I almost never want to draw it, just sometimes wish the option was there
Plunder patroll has amazing synergy with the adventure engine but I actually enjoyed playing in a more pure form taking out adventure and maxing out on the equip spell and the booty and pride...main reason the fusion and xyz is just a body on the field without a plunder card in hand. Also people sleeping on pride trap card being able to see opponents hand and rip a card is kinda nuts.
I've been using 2 Booty and Shipping since bird flu exists for the booty, and shipping can help you rebuild and extend into a bunch with the yard in the grave as well, but cut the emblem early on cause it just seemed more like a waste of resources and win more.
This whole deck is getting reprinted in Ghost of the past 2 and i cant wait. Th beards were pricey for a rogue deck so they needed a reprint. The mechanic is hard to play against with the right pilot.

As a main Plunder since goldenhair and bluebeard came out I use it on a full go second decklist (with x3 alpha, pankra, mind control...)and I can't remain of one moment where I wasn't happy to see it in my hand
imo Groza and White Aura are win more cards. Shark+Toad and Geonator Transverser are much more important (the latter especially so if you play Nib at all)

This deck is such a fair deck. I love how it's only limited by the opponent's graveyard and your creativity.

Emblem isn’t necessary, but Shipshape shipping is nice to pump up if you need it but I’ve dropped both to add more hand traps.

The adventure token engine is just that good
to be fair it synergizes with plunder because of equip protection

How much is is this Deck?
Plunder patrol core itself is about 140-150, handtraps and adventurers will run you about 500-700 more depending on rarity I believe
@@mylastnamescox the only expensive cards in the plunder patroll core are whitbeard at 10 bucks and redbeard at 5, everything else is 5 cents to 1€
