Hey Allison, an idea about the hanging plant...I think it’s the type of plant that’s hanging...maybe try something with long tendrils that billows down like a philodendron or arrowshead plant! Hopefully that look will work! And maybe hanging it a little closer to the corner of the room?? Love your vids and the house is shaping up beautifully xx

I love the idea of a plant subscription! What a fun gift! I would try a pothos in your laundry room. A plant that will grow lush and overhang from the pot would be great. Maybe a macrame plant hanger. Your home is coming together so beautifully. ❤
I would move the hook on the ceiling more to the left! Whenever I put them too close to the center I feel like the hanging planter looks off. It really helps for it to be off to the side!!
Watermelon peperomias are one of my favorite plants! Make sure it has good light, humidity and let it go bone dry before watering. When you see the stems tilt, it’s a good indicator it needs water (and/or humidity). Mine was doing really good but it’s soooo cold here in WA so I had to put a grow light and humidifier by it! I think yours will do great with the Florida heat and humidity! For the hanging planter in the laundry room, any trailing plants would look good! Trailing plants are anything that grows downward instead of upwards like the one you have up there. I’d recommend any pothos (golden pothos, silver satin, or marble queen). Excited to see all of your new plant babes and congrats on the new home! 🪴 🏡
I hope you and Brandon get approved by the rescue. A dog is great. My dog a rescue at 5 years Bonnie has definitely helped me everyday and on hard days. Congrats to your friend! I hope she has a great labor and delivery! If she is nearby I recommend bringing her a meal that is easy to eat with one hand pasta, sandwich or soup, and dessert. A basket with candy or snacks, a cozy blanket, and pjs would be nice.
