For those who likes the melodic death metal element and all the cool riffs and solos from The Poison and Scream Aim Fire (me included), I can understand why Gravity would be a let down. I once listened to Gravity album before and I thought it was fine but after my taste for metal music has changed to more and more extreme and chaotic, (like Deathcore and those very heavy Metalcore bands like Breakdown Of Sanity) I was like hmm, I prefer The Poison and Scream Aim Fire because those Melodeath riffs are sick!!!
Every BFMV albums have it's own special. I just love the way they improvise their songs even there's no guitar solo at all. Stay METAL BFMV!!! WE LOVE IT!!
Agreed it's a lot different than their old stuff, but hey it's not bad. Definitely something that we were not expecting but lets appreciate their efforts. I love this album. Edit: Still jamming to this album after two years and yet these songs seem fresh to me. Pity the haters lol
im a fan of bullet since the first album.... but the new one got me to listen to them at least 2h per day... dont know what is the hate about the new sound ... i just love it so much.
This song has that final battle/opening from an anime series vibe and I just love it. Got me listening to this for 6 hours straight and it connected with me hard. I love it and can't get enough of it. Bullet, you guys not only rock but you do ROCK!
Honestly I think it's a good change, they have the same essence of BFMV combined with something new, I really wish you guys luck! it sounds beautiful the change they made
Usually being compared to gravity would be a compliment (ie keeping someone grounded or keeping their head out of the clouds) which makes this song particularly powerful
BFMV is evolving. I know it's hard to get to hear these type of songs from BFMV but one day or the other you got to change your style , this surely is a great album.
I'm 45, going on 46, and have grown up with the whole metal/hardcore genre of music, as well as being a musician, and I think that bfmv has got to be the single best band I've ever fucking heard in all my years of playing and listening!!!

Well, for what it's worth... This is from an interview with Matt about their next album. Tuck replied: “It’s pretty brutal, to be honest. It couldn’t be more of a contrast with ‘Gravity’ in a ferocious style. It’s very technical. “I don’t know why. You’ve just gotta go with what you wanna go with - as a band, as a musician, as a songwriter, you’ve just gotta go with what’s floating your boat, and this time around, the heavy stuff is just coming out in masses. “The riffs are crushing. There’s probably 60 percent aggressive vocals, 40 [percent] clean, which is a ratio we’ve never really dabbled with before.”

I tend to complain about bfmv with this album even though I absolutely love it. I just gotta remember that this is just a more vocally melodic album! 🤘
In response to an earlier comment: I agree but then I look at many similar bands, I will continue to support and I for one, though maybe a minority, like it. Of what I spoke of earlier, one of those bands was All That Remains, and OMFG did they go hard. Just seems to be the move they are making these days. I look at it like supporting that team ingrained in your roots (for me it's UNLV - remember 1990/91?). In a nutshell, I'll be supporting, as this 'team' goes through it's transformation into a new identity. Why? Because they are still they guys that got ME through so much. Do your thing Bullet, I'll be there right with you. Don't get me wrong, I, too, will miss it.

Yo hice de todo para verlos, casi vendía mi alma y logré verlos ahí aún con Jay y Moose, yo era fan, pero ya no son ni la sombra que eran antes de Venom, los que aún los vimos a los verdaderos 4 y estuvimos ahí es una experiencia incomparable para cualquiera que vaya a uno de sus otros conciertos aún así gracias bullet por las viejas canciones, sabía que al irse un integrante la banda no sería la misma, no me equivoqué, pero gracias por las rolitas de antes que quedaron para siempre esas si eran canciones.
Fue un concierto excelente! Su primera vez en México! Tocando una canción que no estaba en su setlist al final (Alone)! Entiendo perfectamente tu sentir bro pues eran mi banda favorita.

Tal vez los oyentes no esten acostumbrados a salirse de la línea que normalmente lleva una banda, no están acostumbrados a que su oído capte escalas y sonidos que se han usado a lo largo de los años una y otra vez sin darse cuenta. Habéis roto con el estereotipo de posicionarse y estancarse en un género definido y eso es bueno. Esto es realmente un buen trabajo porque ya no se trata de originalidad, se trata de saber abrir la mente y salir de la zona de confort. Enhorabuena , enserio.

For those who likes the melodic death metal element and all the cool riffs and solos from The Poison and Scream Aim Fire (me included), I can understand why Gravity would be a let down. I once listened to Gravity album before and I thought it was fine but after my taste for metal music has changed to more and more extreme and chaotic, (like Deathcore and those very heavy Metalcore bands like Breakdown Of Sanity) I was like hmm, I prefer The Poison and Scream Aim Fire because those Melodeath riffs are sick!!!

Tuck replied: “It’s pretty brutal, to be honest. It couldn’t be more of a contrast with ‘Gravity’ in a ferocious style. It’s very technical.
“I don’t know why. You’ve just gotta go with what you wanna go with - as a band, as a musician, as a songwriter, you’ve just gotta go with what’s floating your boat, and this time around, the heavy stuff is just coming out in masses.
“The riffs are crushing. There’s probably 60 percent aggressive vocals, 40 [percent] clean, which is a ratio we’ve never really dabbled with before.”

Of what I spoke of earlier, one of those bands was All That Remains, and OMFG did they go hard. Just seems to be the move they are making these days. I look at it like supporting that team ingrained in your roots (for me it's UNLV - remember 1990/91?). In a nutshell, I'll be supporting, as this 'team' goes through it's transformation into a new identity. Why? Because they are still they guys that got ME through so much. Do your thing Bullet, I'll be there right with you. Don't get me wrong, I, too, will miss it.

Yo hice de todo para verlos, casi vendía mi alma y logré verlos ahí aún con Jay y Moose, yo era fan, pero ya no son ni la sombra que eran antes de Venom, los que aún los vimos a los verdaderos 4 y estuvimos ahí es una experiencia incomparable para cualquiera que vaya a uno de sus otros conciertos aún así gracias bullet por las viejas canciones, sabía que al irse un integrante la banda no sería la misma, no me equivoqué, pero gracias por las rolitas de antes que quedaron para siempre esas si eran canciones.
Fue un concierto excelente! Su primera vez en México! Tocando una canción que no estaba en su setlist al final (Alone)! Entiendo perfectamente tu sentir bro pues eran mi banda favorita.
