The whole world watched this wedding she looked stunning even if dress got wrinkled. We all wished them the best. I saw it getting ready for school 😊
If you were to open up a book titled princess you would see princess Diana in her wedding dress, when I was a child if I were to think of a princess what a princess would look like it would surely be princess Diana in her wedding dress absolutely stunningly beautiful breathtaking God rest her beautiful soul

No Sorry didnt like this Dress on Princess Diana it was to big for her. I loved Duchess of York's Wedding Dress Better. It was a Better well fitted Dress on Fergie. For the times. Wasnt it the Eighties then. I was born in late Ninties so I didn't get to see them wear there dresses only on UTube much later. But Diana was very beautiful Lady so was Sarah when she was younger.

I agree. It does show how young she was when she chose it. It's very immature in design. As she grew older she really slimlined her look.
You have to take into account the year they were married. It was a beautiful dress at the time.

I saw Diana's wedding dress althorp house. In 2011 on what would have been her 50th birthday I thought it was a lot of dress and very 80s seen some of her other outfits as well on display very interesting to see her fashion changing throughout the years glad I went to see it

Sem dúvidas esse vestido marcou uma geração e vai continuar sendo lembrado depois de décadas. Um vestido muito lindo para uma linda princesa a mais meiga e doce que existiu. Lady Di nunca será esquecida a princesa do povo.

Beautiful dress. I actually like the style of Sarah Ferguson’s dress better. My brides maids dresses were actually based on that design. They were in a dusty Rose color with a slight slit in the back.
Unfortunately, the dress wore her. The gown was over the top.
This is what Meghan wanted to be - an iconic Diana 2.0. The most photographed and admired woman in the World. The star of the Monarchy. When that did not happen, she wanted to leave and get her revenge by trying to be Diana 2.0 of the Bashir Interview.

Le reve pour une femme.
La robe de mariee est fabuleuse.
J adore le diademe des Spencer.
Le bouquet royal est pour moi le plus beau de tous les mariages royaux à ce jour.
J avoue avoir copie lors de mon mariage le 28 aout 1982.
J ai commande au fleuriste une pale copie du bouquet de mariage royal.
Bien evidemment mes moyens n ont pas permis d avoir un si beau bouquet.
Mais sincerement mon fleuriste s en est tres bien sorti.
Je ne me lasse pas de regarder les videos, les photos de Diana dans you tube ou ailleurs.
Elle etait tres belle.
Ce regard bleu profond qui en disait long sur sa vie me touche encore.
Elle a laisse une empreinte indelebile. Son souvenir ne s eteindra jamais.
Ce mariage royal ressemble à un conte de Charles Perrault.
Tout y est, le carrosse, les chevaux, les laquais, la robe, la traine, le voile, les pantoufles de vaire...
Helas le prince etait desenchante !
Ce mariage d apparat est historique.
Lorsque William sera roi, nous verrons alors refleurir les honneurs pour sa regrettee maman.
Ce n est que le debut.
Au dela de la mort, elle est le lien entre ses deux fils.
C est puissant.

I too, remember.... Princess Di had NO say in that hideous, over-powering, wrinkled mess, parody of a wedding gown.

What a disaster that was on the day! It was far too ostentatious, far to flouncy and far too creased... HM The Queen's wedding dress by contrast was beautiful, tasteful and elegant. Diana always looked fabulous in understated clothes... No, The Emmnuel's were not up to the task...

That dress represents the 80’s very well. She looked like a fairy tale princess which was appropriate for her and for the time. Queen Elizabeth also wore a dress appropriate to her time and considering the rationing still underway after the war. The style of the eighties wedding dresses was so outlandish that many of our children did not want to wear their mothers dresses lol. I was lucky as a mid-eighties bride to wear my mother early fifties dress which she mad and veil which my grandmother made, they aged beautifully and with minimal alteration to the neck and adding the ability to bundle was perfect! 💕🐝
I agree. The 1980s were crappy when it came to the fashions of the time. Diana was always a stunningly beautiful woman, tall and slender, but for her big wedding day, she chose a dress that made her look like she was weighed down by it, the thing was huge and it didn’t fit her well. The super long train didn’t help, as if she was dragging along a huge tarpaulin. She did choose the designers and she chose the dress but I put it down to her inexperience. She was anxious and unsure about marrying Charles because of his continued relationship with Camilla which Diana knew about. Years later she said that her wedding was the worse day of her life. How truly sad was that.
Controversial I know, BUT I've never really liked Diana's wedding dress - she was beautiful and think her beauty would have been far more apparent in a lot less fussy over the top dress. She didn't need the puffed shoulders, and overly extensive 25ft train. She always looked her far more beautiful self in a simple figure hugging dress, not dissimilar to that Queen Elizabeth wore when she married Prince Phillip.
At last, someone with taste!!! Diana always looked stunning in understated garments as you say...

She's about the only one who could have made that dress work...sort of. She was stunning on her wedding day but she could have been stunning with half the material. Without her, the dress it looks like a fitted sheet and two pillow cases for sleeves but it was also the style of the day. I can't remember where I read that she just hated it. So heavy and too much material.
SHe agreed to it, but I wouldv'd loved to have seen her in dress mk2 in case the press got the blueprint of #1.
I always thought it was an awful wedding dress, so crumpled when walked down the aisle ... looked like she had been rolling around in it... she did have some lovely dresses but that wedding dress was such a disappointment
Princess Diana was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen in my entire life she walked talked and lived like a princess and this dress says it all it was stunningly beautiful and elegant you couldn't be more wrong
Stunning young Princess in a Magical gown. That was the last of magical Royal theater, Catherine & Prince William’s were close. Royal weddings are too common n boring, plus old divorcé brides look silly in white n long virginal veils (MeGain) The Royal Magic is Lost. 🪄 💫

Out of all the princesses wedding dresses I think Diana’s is the ugliest. It makes me wonder how much input she had on the design of her dress.

I think that dress was the ugliest wedding dress I have ever seen. It was ill fitting, crushed and certainly did not flatter Diana . It was like A toilet roll cover! A complete disappointment.
