Pruning Mango Tree South Florida Update

We have a vigorous mango tree we are experimenting with in our backyard. Recently I’ve learned about pruning your fruit trees to promote more new growth and hence more fruit. As you can see the lower branches are budding like crazy since we hacked the top center of tree a few months back.
