To easily memorize the intervation of the muscles use this mneumonic: SO4 LR6 AO3 (superior oblique - NC IV, lateral rectus - NC VI, all others - NC III)
I'm using this video for my ophthalmology tech training. I'll never ever use the mass of knowledge this video shows since the ophthalmologists probably won't let me go over anatomy to the patient, BUT I'll be using this for my certifications.
Love your videos, you make it easy to understand. You are a better teacher than my instructor😊 here it is 2023 in big isle hawaii. Keep up the good work❤
@@NinjaNerdOfficial Your CC are very well appreciated, but they're not always quite correct. At 1:38, CC says 'lacrimal uncle', and it is the lacrimal CARUNCLE (which IS how you pronounced it, just that for spelling, the CC is off, which is probably because the CC is auto-generated, rather than from written script).
Sir you are just fantastic ,your videos are easy to understand at once and you explain difficult topic in simply and lucid so that everyone can understand. You are awesome sir, thank you sir for your tremendous work.
hey I didn't really understand where the outer pigment layer of the retina is...is it anterior to the inner neuronal layer or over the inner neuronal layer?
He really didn't explain this part very clearly. The wall of the eye can be described as being in LAYERS. From the outside of the eye, inward, the layers are: Sclera, Choroid, Retina. The retina is therefore the INNERMOST part of the layers of the wall of the eye, the part that light hits. The PIGMENTED part of the retina is UNDER the neural retina, and therefore lies between the neural part of the retina and the choroid.
11:11 The eye can be said to be divided into two 'Segments', with respect to the nature of the material filling the eye in those segments, and those segments are called the Anterior Segment, and the Posterior Segment. Those are the segments which respectively are filled with the Aqueous Humor (Anterior Segment), and the Vitreous Humor (Posterior Segment). Aqueous Humor is watery, Vitreous Humor is gelatinous or 'gel-like'. And then... The ANTERIOR SEGMENT is SUB-DIVIDED into the Anterior CHAMBER, and the Posterior CHAMBER, which are separated by the IRIS. Both of these CHAMBERS are filled with the AQUEOUS Humor.
First you say that the "inferior oblique"eye muscle pulls the eyeball, superior and lateral movement.. Then you say at 7:20 minute that the superior oblique muscle puls the eyemuscle inferior and laterally.. So both pul the eye to the outer sides... I think that's not possible because both muscle pull, one from below and the othe from above to the same side ! ????
Good lecture on the eye, but you need to be a bit slow and clear in your pronunciations. You have to for the sake of students who use your channel all over the world. Thanks.
www.fishersci.com/shop/products/eisco-human-eye-model-bony-orbit-human-eye-model-bony-orbit-33l-x-23w-x-20cm-h/s15546 Fisher Scientific is generally where most schools in the United States get their models. They are very expensive, though.
As an ophthalmologist, I would encourage you to look up your pronunciations beforehand ... wrong syllables accented and mispronounced words throughout.
Appreciate that but this channel is meant to make things A LOT more understandable for medical students especially. That can be achieved by putting certain emphasis on words, something that med school professors will never ever do because they expect us to be robots.

3CN(SO4LR6) is how we memorised it at uni- good technique! :)
@@123RileyRoe250 His method is universal!
Who are you? God sent? Thanks a lot I have been watching your videos from 2 semesters. Really helped me
Thanku so much. i got good marks just because of your videos. May god fullfill all your dreams.

Just one request
If you can show the terms in written form while telling them so as to memorize easily
By the way thanks a lot for this one
We could possibly put them in post production, but always check closed captioning as we try to CC most of the videos!

I got a very deep understanding and in memorizing anatomy because of your cool explanation.
ready for first anatomy exam in medical school thanks a lot lot lot lot !!
I love you bro!😆😆😆 Honestly, I learned so much in easiest way.
Make a video on brachial plexus ninjas
I’m sure you will make it look easier
Much love to your channel 👏🏻🙏🏻
He already made one
thanks for your time making these videos . are there videos about eye diseases?
Better than reading a textbook

thanks, that was pretty clear and I learned something.
Very helpful prior to my lab exam 🙏 thank you
Bro you are so intelligent and Genius...Thank you so much..
Super nice discussion, same with moore anatomy
Thank you SO MUCH you saved my life
Thanks❤
I think lacrimal gland is supplied by trigeminal nerve. Kindly correct me if I am wrong.
No, CN VII
i think u r right ....lacrimal n branch of ophthalmic n branch of trigerminal n
awesome man!!...you're such a great teacher...keep it up.
fantastic video. Thank you so much!

Wow , great job
Can you guys make videos on Genetics and molecular biology
Nice model, nice explanation
Thanks for ur awesome explanation 👌👌
Arent the lacrimal glands innervated by the trigeminal nerve?
Merci beaucoup
Thanks! that was very helpful

can u differentiate the substances between the anterior cavity and posterior chamber? Can anyone help me to solve this question. I appreciate it.

Superior oblique rorates it medially bro
Superior oblique causes depression, abduction and medial rotation
Inferior oblique causes elevation, abduction and lateral rotation

no one says "pupil hole"; it's just the "pupil", an empty space

@ZeePark21 thank you very much. It's the understanding we're here for. As for the pronunciation, it's nothing to worry about for now🤲🤲
In as much I’m here for the understanding the pronunciation got nothing to do.
He probably is doing way more to teach and help millions of students and therefore patients, than you as an Ophthalmologist.
