I think you would absolutely love the casa rural Molino Galochas in Villavante, a day or day and a half outside León. It’s on the Villar de Mazarife alternativo path. Mercedes, the innkeeper, is a gem. It’s an old mill house in one of the most romantic settings on the Camino. (Why do I think of Armand Gamache when I hear your husband?! 😘) Bon chemin.

It must be the gray beard and the accent. :-)
