I love the idea if the cheap stearing wheel covers!! I once had to use Goo Gone on the hoop on my old embroidery machine. If you do make sure you wash the hoop well after using the Goo gone .
Great video. It was wonderful you showed the mistake and then how to fix it! Most videos say “here is what you need to do to make…”. Never any help on if you screw up. You did and I am very thankful. Also, great tip about not just chucking things that go wrong.

I have been doing embroidery for awhile on my Brother PE-800 but your video showed me a few tricks to use that I didn't know about. For example, what a great idea about using a steering wheel cover to cover your hoop when spraying adhesive. I will be trying that one. Also - the magnets - I loved that one. I have some bar magnets that are for name tags which are similar to the ones you showed so I am going to try those too. Thank You!

I made a bath hand towel for my parents. Put a fabric applique over then monogrammed. And it worked! I have only embroirded about 10 items. .y machine only does a 4" hoop. But I'm learning 😀
I messed it up first try thsts why I put fabric over it.
I appliquéd something that was the free deign’s fault. It’s outline stitch was not aligned with the main design. I was so annoyed. Not all free designs are good:( I learned on the old PE 150 from 20 yrs ago. I’m still learning. My original machine used cards. I used a card writer box and two rewritable cards. I can’t use the writer box anymore. It connected to a serial port computer with older Windows. The good thing is my old embroidery files are still usable. I just use the usb instead. I found software to help me organize ans view the designs before selecting them.

My own Etsy shop, but they all sold out today. I did order more inventory so hopefully the magnets will be restocked in 1-2 weeks.
I have the pe800 and I bought an Etsy design that is supposed to fit the 5x7 hoop but when I go to open the design on my machine it says The pattern is too large for the embroidery frame do you have any advice?
Honestly? I would contact the shop you purchased it from and ask for support. You paid for the design and it should be able to work for your machine. If the design is indeed too large to fit into the hoop size, that is an issue with the digital product itself.

Hello!! I am having a hard time finding this machine is it discontinued?
No! I just got it new with a deluxe bundle but it is very popular. They may have run out of it in a few places. It’s the #3 top embroidery machine. I chose it ove LAN b/c my cable sucks. Signal cuts out too much plus we have split the signal probably too many ways so We chose PE800. I learned on PE150 from 20yrs ago! I still have it. It stitches perfectly but can’t use anything to write cards for it anymore:(
Okay. Just found this video. If anyone can please help me with this it’ll be appreciated. So my designs have a thing where the out lines are off the design so its always a gap between outline and the design. can the stabilizing paper help? Someone said its not balanced thats why it happens. Anyone i’ve been searching for help for about 4 months i cant find anything or anyone for help.

Sometimes the design is defective. What fabric are you using?
Every time I try to embroider a shirt, it sews the back to the front! How do I avoid this?
You have to bunch the fabric up out of the way. Use clips if yo have to. Don’t walk away while stitching incase the shirt flops over in the way. I screwed up once by not watching what was happening.
