mmmm i am not sure .you could be right .All i know is my old friend from school days made her the face and all hes an artis .He does work for horror films
I've found that each monster reflects the character it attacks in some way. The Big Toe: the boy that is attacked by the monster is obsessed with what goes in food. The Big Red Bump: the girl was clearly obsessed with vanity and also had a fear of spiders. The Pale Lady: the boy she attacks is always seen snacking. She literally consumes him. Me Tie Dough Tee Walker (or whatever it was): it's a monster that literally falls to pieces. The boy it attacks talks about his fear of vietnam after his brother came back in "pieces" The ghost: obviously, the girl was misunderstood like the ghost. Probably people have also noticed these but I'd just thought I'd share them.
@@tedhenry3878 I had something for him a while ago, but in all honesty I couldn't remember anything that showed a connection. If anyone has any ideas on how they're connected, I'd love to hear them.
The Pale Lady is a little bit different. The snacking thing is fine, but the real symbolism, I feel, is that he coveted women only to meet his demise at the hands of a woman that coveted him. I think the snacking part made more of an impact in exactly how she killed him.
@@jacks1703 Well, if you make it into a story, like the ghost of a girl, who was either a teenager or in her early 20’s. Who then somehow died from something, then gets trapped in the mirror or mirror world. Then later on, in the future, meets a lonesome boy, or now a days, a girl. Then throughout the series, not only together they solve how the ghost girl died, they also solve unsolved death cases. But, more importantly, their relationship both strangeness and grows.

@@placeholder4038 I believe that when it shows the creature behind him. It's like more signs of impending doom? It's telling the person watching that he's going to see that when he turns around? I'm not sure at all just a silly thought.
@@Tristan1886 That is an interesting idea. The monster behind him isn’t really there but a illusion to show to the audience that the kid is screwed. That is fun because I was assuming a literal interpretation. But here we can see that it very well my be that the monster is something made to build atmosphere.
@@placeholder4038 Yeah I feel the same. Honestly this is my favourite scene in the whole movie because you can see it getting closer. The tension is crazy and you can tell this scene likes to make you think these different scenarios of "could he have escaped?"

Lelouch Lars Britannia LMaO
something you don't know
For something as terrifying as "The Pale Lady", it was one of their biggest challenges! The character was created by using a latex foam suit with "microspheres of padding [...] used to create the look of cellulite in motion".16 Sept 2020
mmmm i am not sure .you could be right .All i know is my old friend from school days made her the face and all hes an artis .He does work for horror films
My grandma be like come give me a kiss 😂
I've found that each monster reflects the character it attacks in some way.
The Big Toe: the boy that is attacked by the monster is obsessed with what goes in food.
The Big Red Bump: the girl was clearly obsessed with vanity and also had a fear of spiders.
The Pale Lady: the boy she attacks is always seen snacking. She literally consumes him.
Me Tie Dough Tee Walker (or whatever it was): it's a monster that literally falls to pieces. The boy it attacks talks about his fear of vietnam after his brother came back in "pieces"
The ghost: obviously, the girl was misunderstood like the ghost.
Probably people have also noticed these but I'd just thought I'd share them.
Harold?
@@tedhenry3878 I had something for him a while ago, but in all honesty I couldn't remember anything that showed a connection. If anyone has any ideas on how they're connected, I'd love to hear them.
H is for Harold
And for hoolagins.
Harold: The bully constantly abuses the scarecrow, so it makes HIM the scarecrow.
The Pale Lady is a little bit different.
The snacking thing is fine, but the real symbolism, I feel, is that he coveted women only to meet his demise at the hands of a woman that coveted him.
I think the snacking part made more of an impact in exactly how she killed him.

Supernaturally romantic, that is.

@@jacks1703 did you mean bloody mary bro?
@@jacks1703 Well, if you make it into a story, like the ghost of a girl, who was either a teenager or in her early 20’s. Who then somehow died from something, then gets trapped in the mirror or mirror world.
Then later on, in the future, meets a lonesome boy, or now a days, a girl. Then throughout the series, not only together they solve how the ghost girl died, they also solve unsolved death cases. But, more importantly, their relationship both strangeness and grows.
It's like Danny DeVito's Penguin and Momo had a baby.

can we talk about how important the right music is in a film? like, at 1:26 i think the score works great because it’s no huge, cinematic thing. combined with the acting it gives the perfect feeling of dread and hopelessness.
Reminds me of the score in Aliens: that squalling brass telling you that, as bad as things are, they're about to get a shit ton worse.

Books will always be different from movies.
@@cobrakairobloxenthusiast4291 Sure, a movie adaptation might change some small details like move a scene here and there so it flows better as a film or save time. But I think changing a good character into an outright villain is pushing it a tad.

Reading "The Dream" gave me nightmares as a kid because that scary illustration always lingered in my head. Years later, I bought the book and drew sunglasses over her eyes.
Then the film came out and I never slept again.
You know, you could make a Horror-comedy film with that line.
