Totally agree. Wasted my 2 years while getting under paid for tons of work on my shoulders. You'd spend hours fixing bugs on Android Studio and no progress at all. Finally I'd to retreat back to web dev.

Bro, in reality FAANG company is a doubtful term.. this comes from stock market... Facebook only took 1-2 engineer per years from India.. Netflix rarely takes Indian engineers.. apple takes but a very few.. Amazon is ok ok u can trust.. google is based on complete DSA specific.. only takes the top ones from every interview... Microsoft has one of the worst process for jobs.. they priorities higher CGPA rank in college. almost 8+ with strong DSA skill.. you can choose other big service based companies.... they are much much better than FAANGM
Don't fall for android in India, there's hardly any posting and a huge saturation. Focus on React, cloud, cyber sec and other leading tech. Also the amount of work you'd need to do is exponential - from design to backend it's all on you and lest not the bugs of Android Studio

I had both skills Android + iOS and that helped me continue the path.
