Is this really needed. I mean few years back etc no fan was coming with this. Never in my life did i see or experience a fan falling off. I know its possible. But its also possible that your eating in hotel and truck comes ramming inside the hotel and kills you. So ? does it mean thats common...that is one in a million times....that way anything is possible and can happen.

You are right.. I too never thought a fan cud fall..until a few months back on a fine afternoon when it fell right next to my head..at the same place which my mom left just around 3 seconds back.
