1. Insert new track (ctr+T) 2. Arm the track ( Red circle button ) 3. I have to choose input 2 in the "Input: mono" section. Ofc try all the inputs if you aren't getting a sound. ( Left click on the right side of the track) 4. Add your plug in, effects etc. from the FX button ( FX under the red button) All those you do from the track that you open. That's all it takes for me to get sound out. Hope that helps!
