I feel ya man. This song ATM hits home for me too. I lost my girlfriend around the beginning of the pandemic, she couldn't take the distance..I couldn't tell her all my truths and what I was going thru, living a double life. The lyrics sum it all up. Now it's my biggest regret, and I can't make amends with her, she wont accept anything from me, she changed overnight from a partner to a stranger, no matter what I've said or done. I'm less than zero to her now . Becareful of how you act and walk , some people won't be understanding or be able to deal with your choices. There's no laws in relationships, don't expect to be forgiven or understood, times have changed

I swear this song is also quite accurate for how Roman and Cody's storyline is gonna be on the Road To WrestleMania, especially Roman's impending end of his reign as the Undisputed champ. It makes feel a bit emotional for both of them knowing that the one thing that makes them motivated to that championship is because of the legacy of their family that they are both fighting for it. Once one of them lose, they will somehow feel like they are "less than zero" for failing their mission.
When you look at it like that, it makes the song and potential match even more better and exciting. The storytelling has all the potential to be the best if they can nail it.👌

This!!! This took the words right out of my mouth. This whole album felt like an exploration of purgatory, maybe not necessarily in only the religious sense but also the emotional sense. You're stuck in regret and can't let go of the trauma, thus causing it to continue and continue until you either pass away or break the cycle. I think he may even have meant this album to be a goodbye of The Weeknd as a character/persona
