We caught up with this one at the weekend. A throughly enjoyable watch🤩👍. We have never heard of Flamborough before but wow what a fantastic coastal / cliff top location. The birds amazing, you have great knowledge of them and a far better memory than us!😆. How strange that tyre being on top of that rock, wonder how on earth it got there🤔. At least it was being recycled as a very good nest site! Enjoyed watching as always, hope you are well and have a good week ahead, Shell and Pete

That was a good value breakfast, we are in the area soon, so might have to check out that café. The walk looks pleasant, but gives you some amazing views, albeit a bit windy. Have a lovely weekend - Nettie 🙋
Nice way to start the day and not bad value either. never been to Flamborough head, so an interesting watch and funny enough, Mrs Metalman always calls me a gannet! Some great viewpoints there and a real nice beach too, looks like a day out that we would have enjoyed too, cheers Alan

Lovely looking coastal area that mate, nice to have a walk along the beaches and cliff tops breathing in all that fresh sea air, we live a few miles from the northeast coast and often walk along down there, can't believe there is a tyre on there , maybe someone was just a good shot from the cliff top 🤣 look forward to the next one mate, atb Mick 👍

Oh wow - what a place!! Great seeing all those species - I haven’t seen any of them yet - not even the Swallow!! The brekkie looked GOOD!! And those views of the sheer drops - made me heart miss a beat!! 😃 How the heck did a tyre get up there. Absolutely bizarre!! Really beautiful mate - loved the Gorse against the white of the cliffs - stunning!! A part of the world we don’t know at all - must get there sometime - looks awesome!!

Nice to see you in our neck of the woods Steve! We love Flamborough Head, just down the road for us. Another month and you would have got the puffins between North and lighthouse. The seal colony at the furthest point at the headland is pretty remarkable. Glad you saw some Gannets, they are my favourite, but as much as i prefer Flamborough the gannets are mostly at bempton just a couple of miles away. Nice to see you there, dont be afraid to hit us up if your in that area, would love to join you. Awesome video, big like from us ♥️
Morning folks...yes we like to nip over to Flamborough every now and again for a walk..we visited Bempton once, the main thing i remember was the smell...i thought we would be a bit early to see the Puffins , never mind...Thanks for the big like.
@@atrampinthehills.841 The puffins will be there very soon! Yes there are so many birds at bempton it can smell pretty bad, like re-recycled fish 😱 but if you hold your nose its worth it. Plus lots of free parking and access from nearby Buckton!

Hi Steve! Great spot for a bit of sea watching....but you're right, it does get a bit whiffy up on the cliffs later in the breeding season 😂 Did you catch up with Tree Sparrows in the end? Used to be a good colony near the RSPB visitor centre at Bempton Cliffs. But a goid few years since we last visited! Great video👍

...we had a packed lunch in our rucksacks but after the breakfast we didnt need to take them...bonus....thanks its one of our fave areas for a walk.
