We went with an older used class C on the Ford series E chassis. They used to build them much sturdier before the 90s. Reason being we are living/traveling in central Mexico in it. One trip down to Mazatlan in that "new" RV and I guarantee you, things will be falling apart. Saw it happen to much more expensive new rigs. Happy with our decision to go old for under $10K. 20 months in and going strong!
As a solo traveler, I really like this layout. I’d use overhead bed for extra storage. I like corner bed and can make special covers to make it easy to make the bed. Did that before.
I will NEVER buy a Thor. The reviews of how horrible their customer service is are off the charts. When things break down, it takes months to get fixed. In many cases they wait until the warranty time runs out then will not honor the claim. The company doesn't return calls nor does it honor any warranties. I know MANY who are experiencing this. Their motorhomes are just thrown together with after market and low quality supplies due to COVID. Many of these 2021-2024 were started in production during COVID. Think about it..... Sucks because ALOT of these motorhomes are very beautiful.
For that kind of customer service when your in Mexico and it breaks down the price s/b 40k or less its probably 25 to make and in an accident its like a paper doll house your dead
Thanks for sharing 👍. I particularly don't care for the bed, aka scooter bed. It makes it a challenge for us old folks. I'd prefer a Murphy bed would be more practical. And the toilet looks like it would be a tight squeeze to close the door, and bucket seat don't look like they dont recline. Other than that It's like it would be fun to use.
In my opinion they should remove the wall and make it like a bedroom with a suite. In close the toilet for privacy. That would open up that area and you can get out of bed much easier. Just an idea. Can the bed be removed? It might work great for a work area since you have the bed over the cab. Just some ideas.
So this is a rear-drive power train? Do these ever come in a 4-wheel-drive version for people who want to maximum traction? Otherwise, great space, simple to use not having pop-outs, and great that the shower is separate rather than getting the toilet wet.
You are a fantastic reviewer dude… thank you. Finally not a salesman. I love RV’s. Something about being self-contained like that and mobile is just badass. Dream of mine to have a few bank accounts flush with ends, a nice RV and a partner to travel around with. Ahhh dreams lol 🎉
As an avid camper, I can't stress enough how Asmoke changed my RVing life. The portability and convenience of this pellet grill are unmatched. I used to struggle with my Qstoves, it was bulky and hard to control the temperature. But with Asmoke, I can effortlessly grill my food to perfection. The digital controller makes it so easy to set and maintain the right cooking temperature. Plus, the different flavors of wood pellets add a unique smoky taste to my meals. It's like having my personal chef on the road. It's also battery-powered which is a big plus for me as I often camp in off-grid areas. And the best part? I can monitor and adjust the temperature remotely via the app. It truly has revolutionized my outdoor cooking experiences. #Asmoke
I don’t mind the beds size, but I would definitely sleep the other way, I don’t want my head 2” from a window for some reason.. doesn’t seem proactive or whatever.
Store things in the bumper? 99.9% store the dump hose in the bumper. What brand is the TV antenna? Don’t guess. Don’t mention one brand if you aren’t sure.
I didn't see any outside storage. And, I would rather have a jacknife sofa than a dinette, microwave/convection and no oven to allow for cabinet space. The length is nice. What is the weight on the overhead bed and inverter size? Could you add Maxxair fan and another solar panel? Could your replace the shower curtain with a Nautilus retractable shower door? I have read many bad reviews about Thor's build quality. That gives me pause.
With all the information out there after all this time; if someone still buys any model produced by Thor regardless of a low price, you get what you have coming to ya. End of comment!
I’ve seen the nightmare stories on TH-cam on buying their RV and it missing stuff or things they were supposed to receive and never did. I’m scared to buy an RV. Even a lawyer Steve Laytoh advises don’t do it. 😬🤧😦. I’m disabled and was looking for something to save on property taxes and association fees which are killing me. I don’t get paid 💩.
We could do w/o the oven and microwave. Maybe just a convection microwave and two burner north/south. Glad it's not a double sink and square as round wastes space. I think the subliminal push is "everything from home" so it's thought of as a great idea. I keep hearing "so you can cook a whole pizza." Would most people even bring more than one pizza if that and with pizza rolls and pockets, a small air fryer would be more useful and replace the oven w storage. I'd also like to finally see a vertical shower corner caddy w a lip on the shelves. Why have to my either dry drippy body wash/shampoo bottle and then have to put away? Or have to always pick it up off the floor because they'd inevitably fall with movement. If there were a simple 1.5 inch lip, it could just hold the bottle to drip dry. Thanks for the video. Trying to find one w measurements.
Nice quick review. 1. Unfortunately Thor has beed producing inferior unreliable RV’s w/ terrible nearly none existing customer service. 2. countertops will swell like a sponge in a very short time, super cheap particleboard. 3. 12v only frig is the least expensive thing manufactures can put in a unit. 4. Tankless water heaters are best when you are in a full hookup campground. Otherwise if your boon-dock you will use way too much water before it warms up. 5. Did you notice the trim in overhead bed falling with gap showing? 6. Blue Campus will promise you the world to get you to sign on the dotted line the customer service with be by you getting Liz Amazing to post your issues on TH-cam 😂 otherwise you are stuck with an $80,000 rolling pile of issues. 7. Don’t ever believe they did a pre delivery inspection. Test every piece of equipment yourself. Have them get a hose and turn it on the roof for 30 minutes while you sit inside and listen for water intrusion. Open cabinets and feel for wetness. Then get a reputable certified independent inspector. If you buy it PRAY nothing breaks on your first camping trip because it will be at the dealership 2-6 months getting repaired while you are still making payments and camping in a Walmart tent till you get your $80,000 RV back
So far behind European/Korean/Japanese designs in the 20' range Corner beds are horrible!. Climbing over your spouse to use the head. Where's the drop down bed?
If you buy a Thor product.. you better make sure before 1020 or tou will find out you woulda felt Better Donqting the money to St Jude Childrens Hospital
The step up ruined it for me amongst other things! In all reality all RV’s are made like 💩, after a few years it’s 100% junk, not to leave out Ford’s crappy engine builds aren’t that “ford tough” built anymore! 11:22
We bought a 28' 1989 Class C (Gulfstream Conquest) on the Ford E series chassis. Got some maintenance work done on it and it's not as pretty as a new one (but not shabby either) and so glad we went with something sturdy. Some of the roads here in central Mexico are so rough those folks with new fancy RVs literally had cracks in the walls and cabinets fall off the walls on their first trip out!

I’ll buy it new in two years for half off.
As a solo traveler, I really like this layout. I’d use overhead bed for extra storage. I like corner bed and can make special covers to make it easy to make the bed. Did that before.
For those of us on a broken shoe string budget, 80K is crazy expensive. Far too expensive for most people.
I didn't even think it would be 40K. lol I'm already seeing Mercedes diesel mid 2010s RVs for under 40K. I'll get one for under 20K in a couple years.
I usually don't care for corner beds but considering the length of both beds, this is a winner.
Party wife trap fir 1980 too 2014 kovesr

Nice looking but built so cheaply compared to RVs in the 80s/90s.
For that kind of customer service when your in Mexico and it breaks down the price s/b 40k or less its probably 25 to make and in an accident its like a paper doll house your dead
Do you recommend any? I've been looking at one.
$80,000-$118,000 Affordable? Is this clickbait? Lol
Wrong 1980 sued $80000 too $1 14 millon exidic cars
It is relatively affordable for its size and the fact that it is new. RVs aren’t cheap.
Man this motor home nice can't beat Dat price ..you might can get it lower then asking price
When you consider a regular half ton pickup truck, can easily have an MSRP around $100k…something like this is a steal.
Go buy a cruise America one 3 years old 30k
They have the same floor plan available there at that same exact location but with the chevy chassis for 10k less
Nice find!
that's why it's 10 grand less
Wrong

Whatever the price may be, it ain’t worth it. They should give them to you to drive. They should pay us to drive them. They’re all overpriced.
This one is awesome…I was considering a B+ model but I really like this one ( I’d swap out that generator for a Lithium battery though..
This RV is very much like ours. I love it!

Underneath the bed is where the water tanks, pump and plumbing are.
Thanks for the info! this isnt that much more than a basic DIY Van but so much more. Quality might be an issue but, guess you get what you pay for.
Wribg it's wsy mirde
I bought a well maintained 2017 Jayco Greyhawk 29ME Class C motorhome with 13,000 on it for $70,000 and I love it. $80,000 is too steep.
I was looking at buying a new 75.000 R.v. Any free advice ???
So this is a rear-drive power train? Do these ever come in a 4-wheel-drive version for people who want to maximum traction? Otherwise, great space, simple to use not having pop-outs, and great that the shower is separate rather than getting the toilet wet.
Yes, there are many 4 wheel drive motorhome options.
This would definitely get the job done. Nice unit
And if you don't like the RV this guy can sell you a time share or a mattress.
No one ever mentions the gas mileage!!!!!!!!
8 mpg
If you gotta ask, you can't afford it.
You are a fantastic reviewer dude… thank you. Finally not a salesman.

I don't know if I like the pressurized black tank.
It's just easier to open a valve and drive through a school zone to dump it.
comment winner right here... Two thumbs up buddy!
Considering a truck goes for $80 grand theses days. That's no a bad price.
that’s even a worse price for a truck
Please explain more about that A/C
This RV could be had for below 50K before covid, this price is insane.
Ceiling joint strips already have gaps, and it's still new, sad.
I expected 60k or so. You can get far more for just 20k more.
Wring😅
like what?
I think I prefer the class C RV’s

what is this, a commercial for Asmoke? your comment has nothing to do with this RV.
I've delivered RVs there so many times!!
I don’t mind the beds size, but I would definitely sleep the other way, I don’t want my head 2” from a window for some reason.. doesn’t seem proactive or whatever.
WOW !! what an RV, sadly in Italy we don't have this beauty.
@@DaddyGringuito my apologies i mistyped (i meant RV)
Well it's a Thor, so we know it's made cheap as far as quality goes.
Great report, the ONLY PROBLEM is the not being on one level, (not good)!
I like it, cheap and simple. Gets you where you want to go.
Very nice decor . Great value RV
Thank you for showing price points. Obviously it is a price at a certain time but it at least shows the ball park of what it is. 👍
You had me til you said Thor, oh no, too many problems with them in all classes they make. Besides, 8-10 mpg is a big nope 👎🏼
Store things in the bumper? 99.9% store the dump hose in the bumper. What brand is the TV antenna? Don’t guess. Don’t mention one brand if you aren’t sure.
These are reasonably priced at 20 grand !
@@Tungoon you can’t even get a ford chassis for $20 grand…
Great deal
Thanks for sharing
I will buy this

Has a good size storage 3:14, no slide so a jackknife sofa would have your legs in the aisle.
Idiot
He showed outside storage

What size is the bed? Can we pull that out and put 2 Dane kennels there?
Cheaper than a pick-up.
Yes it or suv
That price is 😊
Love it. Would be perfect for two people.
or a guy and a lot lizard
Yes
@@harryknutts8428ewww!
price is great like a big suv
I would buy it. I think it’s nice. But I do wonder about the gas mileage though.
When I purchased my motor home, this same class C was only 54000.
Pretty nice price for this RV. I would love to be able to buy this RV but, I'm broke! 😂

@mylesrv I've heard mumblings about Thor quality, what say you?
According to list of best, maintenance, problems, pvc/pex leaks, cost to own, depreciation, not mentioned as top of the line in its class.
That’s allot of amenities for a small Class C.
I have zero good to say about "Thor Motor Coaches"
Wrobg
I love this RV!!!!
Thor is facing a lot of lawsuits for defective equipment.
Can a cheap shower door be added diy? Dont like curtains

Thanks for the video. Trying to find one w measurements.
jng ni wasted soa c e
It is a nice motorhome
They almost got it right - where iz the TV 4 the bedroom ?
Considering a lousy Tacoma already cost 60g$ that’s not bad, probably lousy mileage though
Hey awesome video. I wanted to ask you if the dinette can be converted into a bed. That is the only thing you didn’t cover. Thanks
Yes he did, open your ears
Very nice not really impressed with the bed but it would work. Have a great day 😊
do they have a diesel version?
Its Beautiful !
That’s the price of a house in some areas…
Bed area has no place for cupholders or a protective device. There should also be privacy curtain or enclosure from driving area. 🤷♀️
Great video. Thank you 😊
GOOD PRICE AND FEATURES
So the only place to sit and relax is at the dinette?? No thanks.
Love it! Can’t afford it unless I win the lottery:)
Does this come in diesel?
Amazing that you get all that for the price
Great video
did I miss where the propane is??
7.3 is that the v10?
Dream mobile home ❤️
no engine description??
Should be 48k-50k MAX. Let this thing sit and rot.😎
Looks good.
80k for this seems really good
Wheres the spare tire?

3 burner gas cooktop and an oven in an RV this size. These guys get their designers out of kindergarten don't they

hate stuff like this when they do not give you the price.
