Mine gives me the beep when correctly putting in a code but that actual locking mechanism doesn't releases. I wish it was as simple as what you had😅

If I understand you correctly -- and forgive me if I don't -- open the keypad and try pressing the tiny reset button on the control board, to see if it releases the relay.

Any suggestions if it accepts the code but does not open the gate?

Is it wireless or hardwired? If it is wireless, check that the transmitter board light comes on when you enter the code (you have to do it while you have the face of the keypad open).

Mine opens and closes with a touch of a button. It was working properly and then stopped. So I reset it and did it all over again and it accepted the code but as soon as I press a button it opens

This is what I understand, so correct me if I misunderstood: you press ANY single button on the keypad and it opens the gate? If so, then there is definitely something wrong with the control board (as long as there are no wiring shorts).
