It would be good to stand either end of Westminster bridge when the scammers are in operation with boards in several languages explaining the scam, even hand out leaflets
Pretty random that this popped up on my feed, I just walked across Westminster bridge 2 hours ago and there were 4 separate teams working this trick, about 8 to each gang, one or two were women, you could tell the leader as he stands directly in front and makes lots of noise.
a lot of people still its madness. the games been around since year dot so many different types chase the lady , find the pea im a non gambler and i still no about it
When someone with experience meets someone with money, the person with the experience gets the money, and the person with the money gets the experience.
One of the oldest scams going - tbh I'm more worried by the height (or lack of ) of that rail on the side of the bridge. Go for a stroll while under the influence of god knows what these days and that could be the end.
If you want to do a fun audit I'm up for it. 1 Call 999, they won't respond. 2. Go to NSY or the MOD and start filming. 3. Police turn up in 3 mins. 4. You could even engage them in a bit of banter first. Have they had a busy last 2 hours? How many jobs? ... They won't have been on any. 5. Great you say, thanks for responding to the 999 call. They are on the bridge now. 6. Followed up with the, why did you neglect the 999 call?
@@Insearchofpeace-iv2lm I've been reporting them for close to 2 decades. The police cannot be arsed unless. 1. An MPs wallet gets lifted. 2. There's a referendum 3. There's a GE. I have won multiple complaints against the Met on this matter, and they cannot be arsed. The first the Met knew they were wanted for homicide was when I turned up at Charring Cross with the wanted poster. In practice its a very easy fix. That they don't want to suggests they are on the take. That the money is divied up right outside NSY [I've seen this] also says the Met are on the take.
Greetings from Manchester. That is a still ongoing scam even in Greece, you will mostly find them central Athens. In Greece we call it Papas. Meaning priest. So we say... Here is the priest, there is the priest, where is the priest? And when U hear the last bit U place Ur bets, and loose 😂
You cansee the ones who are in on it, they gather tound when trying to film it and at a different one later. Police should clamp down on this, illegal . They would harrass street sellers who were selling items but not scammers?
All within sight of one of London's most heavily-policed areas
Inside the secure zone.
But its Charring Cross police station, and they are on the take.
Didn't like bring called out, and gets aggressive quickly. A common trait of street scammers.
I got scammed like this when I was 13 and lost all my pocket money. Devastated me at the time but it was a valuable lesson in life.
I can't believe people still try this scam in this day and age
This is yet more proof how little pride they have for our iconic city.
Age old scamming trick that people still fall for.
You should get a loud speaker and shout police needed, scam talking place!
The Bubble jacket crew are standard issue kalergi approved economic disruptors. Phase1 pre-swarm.
Mi5 just down the road, there are literal secret agents walking past this daily.
🤣🤣 well done Tyrant, it makes the street look trashy , get em off

If the police and authorities didn't want this to happen they'd stop it.
Clearly they do.

Bloody hell Chris, risky stuff there, they could have tipped you off the bridge! Well done on informing so many passers by.
It's how they work doing that scam in large groups, with their own players in Prague 😊
Never mind the scammers on the bridge its the scumbags in the building behind!
The City that gave away its heart, soul and self-respect.

Life is a scam, and a con till you look at it in a different view and perspective 😁

Stupid people can't be helped. Scammers only act where there is a market, serves the dopes right.

They have spotters either side of the bridge that send a call to the gang if Police are about..same trick beggars use on the Embankment.

Also called the shell game. It is illegal. If you see it, report it to the police on 101. I have done so several times.
