DPF back VS Turbo back Stainless Steel Torqit Exhaust

Well its a very well known fact that current model V8 Cruisers just don't sound like they used to. One simple thing that has made that so, "diesel particular filter". This one component has put a (pun intended) muffler onto all new diesels being sold in Australia. We look at the differences between a current model V8 Toyota Landcruiser equipped with a DPF compared to a pre DPF V8 Toyota Landcruiser with out DPF. You be the judge of the outcome.

Whats the difference between DPF and non DPF? besides the sound? does the dpf exhaust clean the crap as it comes out?

Correct, the DPF is traps exhaust soot and other nasty particles churned out by diesel engines.

Do you need to upgrade anything on the dpf version? Or does it bolt straight on and from stock and sound like that?

If you had to to choose between a mint 2015 VDJ78 GXL with 40,000Kms for $80K or 2021 VDJ78 GXL with 0kms for $80K which one would you pick? (obviously one has DPF and the other doesn't)

I have a 2019 Navara, been thinking about DPF back torqit as it would be illegal for me to put turbo back exhaust. Is that correct? Will it have much sound difference with the DPF for my navara 2019?

Can you buy the turbo to dpf part for an existing torqit dpf back exhaust ive got? Got the normal 3.5" torqit exhaust with the coil conversion but wanna go turbo back. Cheers! 👍

i tow a 3.5 tonne boat once a month and mainly looking for a nice v8 sound as a daily driver
