Being a north indian I noticed that south Indians are more traditional and love their folk dances as well.....I just appreciate it whole heartedly.....

This is such a beautiful performance of kuchipudi by Manju Warrier. Initially I thought it was bharatanatyam but a closer look at the attire and the song about Krishna made me realize that it is kuchipudi. She is simply flawless.

@@LaggardInLove uk some people have physical issues and can't dance...the person literally admires and respects an art form which many people don't...he or she is contributing by supporting classical dancers whatever so u think and name it as "gyan" and stuffs..even I have a physical problem ..my knees ball and socket joint is kinda loose by birth...Dr advised me to take rest and dance...I learn Bharathanatyam..I'm mentally prepared maybe I'll have to giye up the love of my life but, I decided that I'll learn kathak then..I can't stay away from dance..and I would always support every art form of india no matter what

The grace which Manju Warrier displayed in dhithiki dhithiki Thai of movie Ennum Eppozhum cannot be compared to this at all. This is not even reaching at Manju chechis feet. Manju Warrier is a Legend.
Hats off to Manju chechi. This is the real dance which we can't see in the dance reality shows . Right now everywhere we just found calisthenics , gymnastics and stunt bazi . This is the pure dance without any adulteration. All classical dance are best. Learning other dance forms is not bad at all but you shouldn't forget your roots. My 3 yr old daughter once watched this video and she started watching it again and again every day. Now she is 6 yrs....and not even a drop of interest has veen lost in her in watching this dance of Manju Chechi. She has mesmerizing elegance in herself. Love u chechi....

Frankly, I do not enjoy classical dance much. But this dance really kept me watching. It's one of the few dances that I thoroughly enjoyed. My respect for this actress increased multi fold after watching this.
