@@shlokasinganporia3016 Bharatanatyam is of more of geometrical n rigid postures, n less drama, while Kuchipudi is more of feminine expressions n flexible postures, n more dramatic. Tarangam is an exclusive Kuchipudi item where the dancer dances on a brass plate! And of course there’re differences in dressing, jewellery and makeup.

@@angeleej536 Kuchipudi is more expressive, free flow next to only Kathak which is the relaxed musical of all. Both these dances developed independently in their courts and temples. Kuchipudi being very close to were Bharatnatyam comes from share many nuances.

This is such a beautiful performance of kuchipudi by Manju Warrier. Initially I thought it was bharatanatyam but a closer look at the attire and the song about Krishna made me realize that it is kuchipudi. She is simply flawless.

Frankly, I do not enjoy classical dance much. But this dance really kept me watching. It's one of the few dances that I thoroughly enjoyed. My respect for this actress increased multi fold after watching this.

Hats off to Manju chechi. This is the real dance which we can't see in the dance reality shows . Right now everywhere we just found calisthenics , gymnastics and stunt bazi . This is the pure dance without any adulteration. All classical dance are best. Learning other dance forms is not bad at all but you shouldn't forget your roots. All classical dance in India is rooted from Bharatha Natyam, the oldest form of classical dance from the Tamils.
I never knew that Manju Warrier was a graceful classical dancer, I have never seen her like this in any of her previous movies. She came back to the big screen with a bang and with all her hidden talents. This dance performance is just AWESOME!!!!!
