  • Have you wondered why you hear about the newest largest cruise ship in the world every so often? That's because Royal Caribbean constantly strives to outdo themselves, breaking their own record for the largest cruise ship at sea.
Even if you've previously sailed on a similar ship, once the newest one launches, you can no longer say that you've sailed on the largest. For instance, if you cruised onboard Symphony of the Seas in 2019, once Wonder launched in 2022 and stole the title, you would have no longer been on the biggest ship in the world, even if you were at the time.
Those determined to sail on the latest and greatest are intrigued by what new modifications Royal to each new ship in their fleet. Of course, Icon of the Seas was a completely different ballgame. As the first ship in the long-awaited Icon Class, she's unlike anything that's ever been built before.

Very good information. It is great to know the difference between the largest and a smaller ship.

Great video! Love Royal! We are currently destination driven, most recently Panama Canal full transit on Radiance. Loved this small ship and itinerary. Navigator and Brilliance for 2025.

Broke my tooth and permanent dental bridge on Rock Hard bread on Royal Caribbean the first 20 minutes on board, before the ship even departed . Had to exit the vessel and wait out the remainder of that Sunday and the following day Monday ( a holiday) and then was at my dentist chair at 0800 Tuesday for the close to $5K in dental work. $2500 of which was out of pocket. Royale Caribbean wound up doing nothing for me and said well you have the travel insurance. AON was a delay/deflect/deny nightmare that has paid me not one red penny. The $2500 in AON dental coverage is written in such a way that I wonder if AON has ever paid a penny in dental coverage in its history. The expense must have occurred "during your trip" so if a steel ship gurder falls and busts your teeth out and you cant return to the ship to resume pina coladas, your incurred "no COVERED dental damage" because the dental bill must have occurred after exiting the vessell and before returning to the same vessel. If the injury is too severe to return to the vessel its"Not Covered" I will never use Royal Caribbean nor any type of "travel scamsurance " ever again
