Keep an eye on your scud populations in the shrimp tank, I've heard they can outcompete baby shrimplets since they occupy the same niche. You have so much biodiversity I don't think you'll have to worry about it though tbh. Same with the planaria, I think its pretty much impossible for you not to have *some* planaria in such a lush ecosystem, but I imagine your other worms should keep their populations in check too
WV born and raised shrimp moves to the south. Such fascinating creatures. And the Least Killifish fry are perfectly colored to disappear in the smallest amount of mulm or leaf litter.
I have them in a cleaner version of the Guppy Paradise now. Same tank but it has undergone some changes. But they're pretty elusive! They seem to enjoy the lower parts near the substrate
@ I’ve only done it a few times. It stresses me every time lol. But I’d consider if anyone is interested. I definitely have plenty for the killis and shrimp
Ohhh congrats!!!! you got a family of blueberries!!!! They are so much fun! I’ve had my Blueberry family for about 2 months now! Eagerly awaiting the new lil berries!
Unfortunately hurricane Helene devastated the BucketPonds biosphere. So much was lost. It nearly broke me. But through the generosity of a good friend I'll be trying again! Our blue berry buds will be a vast legion!
I just recently got some sulawesi malawa shrimp for a similar idea of mine. Best of luck with your shrimp, shrimp have become some of my favorite creatures in my tanks and I am sure you will enjoy them too.
If you want to fill up a big group of these guys. Take one led spot, ad it next to the filler. Lights down spot on. And wait… turn on if you see enough… i think different Colors do different things ✌🏻
Hey Solar! Same here! The green water tanks seem to be pretty healthy. Viewing is difficult of course but if things are growing and multiplying then I don't mind!
@@sewerrat7612 thanks I didn’t watch the first one first… I like to live dangerously, I then watched the first one and answered my own question. Thanks for replying tho!
Awwwwwww thanks! ❤ Hope u get back inro shrimp keeping at a later date. I love my cherries.
We're already deep in the second attempt! I'll be bringing them more into the videos once they start breeding. But so far they're thriving 😁

@ they love anything they can find food on 😂
If I remember correctly, it was guppy grass. I put it in there thinking it may help absorb any ammonia the fish released.
I thought so! Hey Clay if you ever get into selling or shipping on a large scale, I can say that you have 100% survival rate!

@@BucketPonds oh no I’m so sorry to hear about all the devastation. I hope you are doing alright.

Hey Kai! Do you mean they're attracted to light? My ostracods behave like that if I have a tank in total darkness (with a light on one side)
@ yes
shrimp on tap😂 my plants seem to thrive in green water. It gets a bad press, unjustified.

Need some marimo moss balls there
Actually yes! Marimo are awesome. Would be a perfect fit. Thank you for the suggestion 😁
