I had a day dream about an episode where the perp dropped a half eaten sandwich at the scene and Hitchcock and Skully help solve the case by pointing out the exact place that sells that type of sandwich which helps the guys narrow down the perp's home address.
@@Phoenix-zu6on Yes but the way I imagine is that they go all forensic analysis on the sandwich checking out the type of meat, the spread the type of oil used. Something like "Peanut oil, there are only 3 sandwich shops in brooklyn who use it."
Well, canonically they were amazing detectives until they were introduced to "Wing Slutz" and they just fell in love with it. Ate themselves into the men we know today.
I seriously want to know how Hitchcock made it to the top of the staircase that fast while in a chair.😅 Also, poor Scully on having to panic sweat, but at least it worked out in the end.😉
Honestly, given how much the entire squad messes up and the level of screw-ups they’ve done, just by the end of season 1, Hitchcock and Scully absolutely didn’t deserve the level of disrespect and disdain they got-- I’m glad they actually evolved the show to reflect that and ended on a great note.
Would Scully and Hitchcock be close to retirement age, at least for policemen? I always imagined that they were very good detectives, but as they got older, the cases became more difficult and dangerous. So, maybe the schemed up to slowly become incompetent. So, they started dropping the ball on less dangerous cases, maybe obvious mistakes on paperwork that didn't overall affect cases. So then they played up a bit of their incompetence at work even more. So, then they're just those guys that we keep around because they're nice. I bet that their good at foodstuff makes people keep them around. Ie with all the food deductions, they've helped other cops do for their cases. *Their help being so small that the other cops don't add their name, bc they know it would just seem bad to going to them for help. Or save someone's special day with their long knowledge of food.
They could actually do that, since the odds of them running into Holt would be pretty low. Wouldn't have to make any awkward casting choices or write him out
kevin threw it away himself bc his family would laugh at the type of pie but he didn’t wanna hurt holt’s feelings about it bc they would make a day trip out of getting the pie and he didn’t wanna lose that!
His theory about limousine and magazing coming from the same word is wrong by the way. Magazine ultimately comes from Arabic, where as Limousines are named after a region in France.
Honestly, they were good, competent detectives in NYC in the 70s and 80s.... I think its fair they kinda coast to retirement lol. No wonder hitchcock had the precinct record too, even with them barely working cases anymore the 80s were...not great in NY.
"if were away from our desks too long theyll update them and well lose minesweeper"
scully is adorable man :D

That would’ve been an amazing subplot for them

wasnt that basically what they did with the hot dogs in the shooter episode?

Hitchcock actually won both highest number of cases solved in 99 and the grandmaster of 99, he was the one true Mr 99
One of them two also won a heist

These two are actually good detectives. Theyre just choose to be lazy so they dont get much work.. which is genius.
Well, canonically they were amazing detectives until they were introduced to "Wing Slutz" and they just fell in love with it. Ate themselves into the men we know today.
"Now you get it!" 😉
Its in the video, they may look like bumbling idiots but it seems they are feigning most of it. They literally just want to cruise till retirement.
Scully is the sweetest of the bunch ♥️
Specially when he calls him Jackey
In an alternate universe, Scully and Hitchcock are the Jake and Amy of Brooklyn 99. This is just a sliver of that multiverse.
They’re more like jake and Charles
Not Jake and Amy , you are traumatising me with this .
@@codesrayThat universe was called the 1980's

Because he's Hitchcock. No further explanation is needed.
lost it at " you need help from the Weiner warriors" lmfaoooo
Hitchcock and Scully worked together like brothers, although everyone thought they were lazy

“Ah Jake you gotta do something, I can’t marry Hitchcock’s wife.” Bro went straight Biblical with that line. 😂
I wish they included the entire stolen pie case bit.
"I am the greatest detective in the history of *here* "

I feel like they were still competent with paperwork and they were able to make the union like them
They busted a drug racket without wearing bulletproof vests. How can write off their good work by assuming cases became harder?
It’s about time we get a detective Scully and Hitchcock show, with them in their younger versions along with Rookie Terry.
They could actually do that, since the odds of them running into Holt would be pretty low. Wouldn't have to make any awkward casting choices or write him out
Scully might be gross, and Hitchcock might be an inappropriate skeez, but they're overall good dudes.
Fun Fact : at 9:43 its not “rosa” who told boyle to follow her. But actually GINA
Was this when they were bone bros?
Rosa is in front of Gina
