no, actually this is 6 months after Endgame, and they actually are quite distant at the start of the series, they actually seem closer at the end of Endgame then they do at the start of this. To the point where I wonder what happened in those 6 months between. At the end of Endgame, when they see Steve off and he passes the shield to Sam, the way Bucky looks at him and behaves is more similar to how he acts around episode 5 and 6 of the show, but in ep 1, even before Sam gives up the shield, he is ignoring him. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Sam didn't jump on being Cap right away, he gradually got annoyed with him about it and eventually gave up trying or something, or Sam told him off screen that he wasn't sure about it, and Bucky got mad and stormed off.
