    Gary your nuts. When i saw that gtp over the toilet!😂 made me burst out laughing and i do enjoy a good laugh.I don’t know how i missed this video.
    Thanks for all the info on gtp constipation, the signs, the tricks to help get some movement. I feel alot better now. I palpated and there was no solid urates blocking, no bulge and no hanging tail . Its been two weeks since i last fed. I was holding off thinking if there was any trouble I didn’t want to exacerbate it but I’m just going to go ahead and feed again. Thanks again for the tips and info. your a gem.👍

    Thanks for being respectful to the ball python. I enjoy your channel, and I am a ball python guy! I breed them as well. And I have never cut an egg…I think we should all be able to get along, and treat each other respectfully. Nice clutch! I don’t have any visual pieds in my collection. Love your videos!

    Hi Gary, There isn't enough out there on the net about assist feeding. Any chance for a demo or some info?

    • @gsreptiles5606
      @gsreptiles5606  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have a chondro clutch incubating. There's a good chance I'll do an "assist feeding" video after they hatch. Thanks for watching!

      Top tip - cut off mouse leg or fuzzy rat leg.
      Gently lever mouth open, and wedge in thigh first (with foot poking out).
      Soo much easier to assist feed to tricky feeders. Will stick to teeth, so less likely to spit out, and easier to swallow than mice pinkies or mice fluffs. Will provide much needed bone and some flesh (whereas pinkies are just a bag of juice)
      Thanks to Hurley Dorset for sharing the GTP tip for my tricky Tully JCP acquisitions.

      @@af7409 I will try tonight and report back... Have a neonate 3 months old... NOT TAKEN A MEAL

    • @af7409
      @af7409 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@omuerta7605 Geeze 3 months! I was bricking it when the JCP neonates were nearing 2 months. Other advice is to keep them hydrated; soak bath if needed. First attempt assist feeding took me ages, but with practise it gets easier. Once the leg is lodged in the mouth, let go/stop restraining them, and keep dead still. Once their flighty response has calmed, they can then start to swallow the item. Took a few videos, but not yet set up to put on TH-cam.

    thanks for the videos and information. Is hydrating the same as nebulizing?

    • @gsreptiles5606
      @gsreptiles5606  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No. Nebulization is typically referred to when treating an RI. Hydrating is associated with "soaking" or "increasing humidity levels". Thanks for watching!!
