Mary, I forgot to tell you that I loved this video and that we certainly think alike because 3 days ago I did a similar thing - I rearranged several stacks of books in order to put them further away from the light. It gave me the chance to stack them in similar subjects as opposed to random order which they were in. Yes, Portugal is beautiful and has magnificent libraries, like Livraria Lello with its majestic staircase. Also, like you I love to travel and I oh-so love your Firenze bookmarks! I salute you with my coffee (you're probably having tea now at 5:51pm). Ciao!

I had my classics together on the same shelf, especially if they were part of a collection, but then I grew irritated and tried putting the classics in their separate genres. It was easier to sort the historical fiction, lol. But then I grew frustrated and put my classics all together again.

You have so many gorgeous editions! Looking forward to that bookshelf tour. I love reshuffling my shelves even if it is a lot of work. At the moment I have my read and tbr separated and I like the distinct difference like you with the unread turned the other way. My shelves are not organised as I don't have space but in future I want to thematically organise my shelves! Like Black authors, middle grade, etc

It is still so fresh in my mind and is so far one of my favorite reads of 2021. :) May I ask what you are studying? :) I think classics are my favorite books to read. I have read Pride and Prejudice at least 10 times!!!

Adoro este tipo de vídeos. Normalmente, não tenho uma forma específica para organizar as minhas estantes, apenas por género. Nunca virei os meus livros não lidos, mas tens razão, parece ser um incentivo a lermos mais. Talvez faça o mesmo, embora os meus livros por ler sejam muito mais do que aqueles que eu já li. 😅. Na minha opinião é tão relaxante ver-te a mexer nos livros e a arrumá-los. 😅🥰.
