Please......i am here again asking so deeply for payers for my son Cameron. Hes been in the christian rehab in Cincinnati for 3 1/2 months. He just left and is walking on the street.....I'm 459 miles away and asking God to direct him and asking for pray for protection.

I have recently left evangelical gatherings and returned to the Orthodox Church. I was always a little amazed but understanding when so many evangelicals I knew turned out to be former Catholics. I am equally amazed and understanding to discover many of my new Orthodox friends were former evangelicals.
Keep in mind that in Revelation Jesus walked among all the churches. Most of the churches had either doctrinal errors or moral issues yet he still walked among them, and the only one that he threatened to remove had neither charges of moral problems nor doctrinal issues, they just had left the first love. I describe this like making a chocolate cake but then leaving out the chocolate.
@@douglasnevill1273When regarding the Church I think time line is an important consideration. From Pentecost to Revelation the time line and Church was Orthodox warts and all. Orthodoxy was THE Church. Christ Jesus ordained it. The Apostles spread it to the known world. The early saints defined it and Jesus communicates with it through a revelation given to John. I see a continuum that doesn't seem to include schismatics. Now I do believe there are true believers within schismatic Protestantism with all it's variations, and even within the Roman church, but THE Church is Orthodox.
We need to extend grace to everyone

It is everything! Every second of our life, there is no separation. However we Bless each other, by our time, our help, listening to others and even sharing a Fish! To learn that it is not just during spiritual times, in church or Bible studies! It is especially in the other times!

Something I found very interesting in my spiritual journey is that my people, before Europeans came, were very religious. They believed in the Trinity, worshipping 1 God, and they would do something everyday called "Going to Water". Upon waking every morning, everyone would go down to the river, and emerge themselves 3 times while giving Thanks 😊 ❤
One of the best that I’ve heard. I have had to learn that the kingdom isn’t found in only church programs; it is found in a smile of a person who passes you on the street. Or in the cup of tea when someone needs it and doesn’t ask (Darjeeling with a ‘bit’ of sweet cream). Or the Word of God from the wonderful godly men who are unashamed.
I hope people are getting saved by accepting JESUS CHRIST as the LORD and SAVIOR before they get baptized

I agree that the song is really pretty and meaningful and it came to him through the Holy Spirit. The only thing I disagreed with was that he does not believe in pre-tribulation rapture. I was totally blown away!

Thank you, need prayers for a friend who has a strong belief but maybe I'm wrong and need guidance on how to understand her stance on once saved always saved. I know works alone will not lead but works by faith change the world. But have a difficult time with once saved ways saved no matter how you lead your life.

When Paul refers to the { Letter} he is making reference to the LAW . The Mosaic Law. Blind still.
What about antiscriptural things like boxing, wrestling, etc. which also embodies charitable acts toward entities like St. Jude's children and even claiming to be saved and talking about Jesus? Violent sports entities convince people that violence is OK. Look at what is happening to our children and teenagers as a result. Paul said, "All things are lawful but not all things are expedient". (Don't remember where it's located.)
I was going to an Ukrainian catholic church for awhile the priest had a son that was changing to a daughter it was kind of weird to see i don't judge but usually after service we would gather for a coffee and the one day there was an admitted homosexual man and the conversation of politics came up and he was saying how the liberals government has done so much for their community i piped up and said ya so much that your community is trying to sexually influence our children. Well it turned a little heated but it all ended when I said how come you cant be humble how come you see no shame

We mix too much paganism. You don’t see Islam do anything like this at all.
Understanding God loved you first in the demonstration that Jesus gave us in His death and resurrection, and this is your salvation.. has you build from this foundation in Spirit and truth in love.
The faith we must have is that Jesus justifies the ungodly, in that while we are still sinners, Christ died for the ungodly..
He did not wait for us to justify ourselves in some rightelous act, He loved us while we are a sinner, and we could not justify ourselves in our own righteous acts, we could not merit the right to have salvation by anything we do right.
It is only because God loved us first, this is the faith that imputes the righteousness of Jesus to us. This is the truth of God we must turn to (repent to God) come in what He set out.
Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. no other way or no other faith is counted for righteousness...
it must be that we received God loved us first and made this clear in Jesus death and resurrection... I do not give myself to Him to be saved i believe He gave himself for me to be saved.
I don't ask Him to come into my heart i believe in his death and resurrection and call upon Him to save me knowing the answer is yes, because i believe God.. True repentance is coming into what God set out in belief
If it's not Scriptural it's a Lie, can't find the rosary, can't find the worship of Mary, can't find the calling anybody Father can't find anything saying we can earn are Salvation, who made the pope ruler? Worship of dead saints? It's just a stone cold spiritually empty building

I'm so thankful for God's love, grace and mercy that he provided a plan of salvation for us through his son Jesus Christ. As mentioned in Acts, we must repent and be baptized for the remission of our sins and to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Without repentance and water baptism, we don't receive forgiveness of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit that indwells our bodies. There are so many examples in the book of Acts of people being baptized into Christ. I don't see any examples in the New testament of people "just" believing or "just" having faith and it says that they received forgiveness of sin and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Anyone who is teaching contrary to what the new testament teaches us is teaching falsely.
Larry Bowles was on the podcast a little while back and talked about when he was in Turkey and he would give bibles to people and they would read the new testament and come back to him and say "we need to be baptized."
Zach, Al and Jase - I have a yes/no question for you.... Do you believe that water baptism is essential for salvation? If yes, great! Can you please clearly state that on your podcast? If no, why? I'm really curious about your justification of how we can be saved without water baptism. You guys were raised in the Church and know the Word. Please FULLY teach it. You guys will be held accountable for what you teach while on this earth....make sure it's right. I love you guys and hope you will consider what I'm saying. Let's talk about fiery darts
Orthodox Christianity is the only Christianity. If you are a Christian, and conservative, then why would you want to be practicing any "progressive" and "radical" form of Christianity, when the Christianity our Savior taught, is still being practiced in every Christian Orthodox Church. I dare you to go to one Sunday service yourselves, at your local Russian, Serbia, or Greek Orthodox Church, and see it, feel it, for yourselves. Service starts at 09:00am. See you there, God Bless.
If it is "catholic" then it is not correct doctrine. The 1st churches were not Catholic, and did not conduct theirselves like Catholic churches. Too much paganism added in. 2nd commandment is to not make graven images.
Catholics don't make graven images. Learn what catholics believe before you speak about it. We can agree to disagree on it, but speak the truth if your going to speak❤
Read the scriptures using your own eyeglasses. There's no doubt that sectarianism that exists today is not by the design of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is a man problem, I don't think we can resolve it however we can love and serve the Lord in worship and love one another despite our differences.

Could you look up Dr. Joseph Laycock? He’s a professor of religion and says he’s an expert on demons, but really he’s a sham professor and he has an agenda to be against religion, and it seems he doesn’t even believe in religion (which with that bias why is he studying religion then??? but whatever - his PhD is apparently Religion in Society, whatever that means - some obscure nonsense). You could have a talk with him or review his work and see what you think and maybe shut him up too? He’s really trying to give credibility to his sham skepticism. That’s what he’s really doing.
