Another option to speed up the retopo process, is to design the low poly model first then copy it and subdivide the model copy for sculpting. However it can lead to some texture anomalies if your sculpt deviates too much from your low poly model. Good for sculpting in small details, but not so good if you plan for the more organic look you get from the sculpting process.
I LOVE the learning videos. Puts the art of developing into perspective. For me, I work on passion projects and I run into skill-based roadblocks and seeing you learn through things like this helps show the effort and workflow needed to succeed in developing games. The simulators and the anime genre of games all seem copy-and-paste and watching videos on the workflow of making those kinds of games seem really industrial and specific, as there's no originality in those games, and they're simply made to make money. But seeing videos like this help push creative thought in originality and are honestly really inspiring. I hope you feel a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction with your dream game, way more than you would feel for your simulators. I'm hoping I can do the same. Love your content 👍
Just a tip- if you ever use substance, never put the texture back in studio. Please, please I have seen this so many times, just export the model form blender with NO, I repeat NO, once again NO texture. Then add a surface appearance onto the model in Roblox Studio, and import the color, metal, height and normal maps in there. Then your texture wont look scuffed. :D
additionally, if you are just want to bake all the textures together/ bake the lighting onto the texture and have it export as 1 png (this is especially useful for stylized models), you could pick the option 2D view on the output template and it will export as one texture.
